I have the final card I designed for my Hang Your Stocking class today (you
can see the others HERE) and I decided to use the Floral Boutique D...
Evening, here is my belated DT entry for Daisy & Dandelion Challenge Blog . The theme this week is 'A Bit of Bling', so my card is slightly loaded with the stuff, to the point of needing sunglasses! Even 'Daisy' has bling in her fur. Anyway, to what I have used. D & D 'Daisy' image, 'Papermania' Signature - Regency paper from the scrummy A5 paper pack. 'Kaisercraft' green and cream flowers and lots of bling, bling from stash. My sentiment is a 'Hero Art's'. Do pop over to see the other DT ladies cards, they are fab! Due to various reasons, I have been a bad blogger this week, so am off to make up for it, have a great weekend whatever you do, Heidi xxx
Good morning ladies, its Willow Sketchie Challenge time again, wow those two weeks come around so quickly! It was my turn to come up with the sketch and the theme is an open one, so that you can use ANYTHING on your project. I love making mini books and have incorporated my sketch onto the front page. I found these great photos of our holiday to Majorca last year and have used some holiday Imaginisce papers and stamps, paper pieced onto Bazzill scalloped cards. Lots of buttons and ribbons, complete the little book.
I will be back later to post my D & D DT entry, running behind again this week, have had a busy one to say the least! Thanks for all of the lovely comments regarding my friend. Have a great day! love and hugs Heidi xxx
Good evening, hasn't the weather been awful today? Non-stop rain with more to come! Thought I would cheer myself up and do this great little challenge using an easy sketch from Sketch & Stash Challenge Blog . You can flip the sketch anyway you want, you must say what is your new piece of stash is and place a link to where you have got it from. My newest craft item is one of the 'Gorjuss Girls' from Sugar Nellie and all papers (Magenta and My Mind's Eye), flower & circle punch, flowers, brads and buttons, are from Crafts U Love . I have covered my 'Gorjuss Girl' with glossy accents and have used a small 'Woodware' sentiment. Here's hoping the sun comes out soon, have a great week and thanks for any comments left, they are really appreciated! Heidi xxx
Well it's back, my mojo that is. Thanks to all of you super bloggers who have been looking for it, especially Dawn Marie who left me the funniest message of all. Also Nicki for the great hayfever remedies, cheers hun! Anyway, here is my entry for this week's Clare Cure Signature Range Stamping Challenge . The challenge is a colour one, using Turquoise & Yellow on your card. I have used some of Clare's 'Big Stack' of papers and yellow Bazzill bling. A flower nestie on loan from a friend and the super Papermania 'Secret Garden' stamp set. Also with the some stamped flowers, branch and buttons from Clare's range of stamps. Have added some great leaves and decoupaged the owl, paper piecing her tum and beak. Some great stones and yellow ribbon from stash. The sentiment is from 'Craftwork Cards' and all of which is stuck to a 'Woodware' brown square card. These cards are just super to use, great size and shape. Hoping you all have a wonderful relaxing weekend, hugs Heidi xxx
No card tonight, sorry! I appear to have lost my mojo, has anyone seen it on their travels? Have spent the day sneezing and coughing with hayfever or a mild cold, whatever it is, it has chased away my inspiration. I have made two cards both for a challenge and they have ended up in the bin. Not a normal thing for me, I haven't had it this bad before. Am off to blogland to look for it, should it turn up I will post something over the weekend. Hope your's is in tact and is happily thriving.
Does anyone have a good remedy for hayfever other than 'Piraton', it sends me to sleep, and as I am working all weekend, that may not be a good thing, as I am dozy enough without it, lol! Any ideas would be gratfully received. Have a lovely weekend peeps, hugs Heidi (sneeze, cough, sneeze)!! xxx
Here as promised, is my DT card for Daisy & Dandelion Challenge blog . It was the turn of my best mate Clare to do the honours and she has come up with a super sketch, so versatile and one I will certainly use again ... Good evening, my second challenge of the day. I have been itching to use these super new stamps called 'Doodles' from the Clare Curd Signature Range. I have not only used the stamps but also the papers from her 'Big One' paper stack and a sentiment from the 'Sentiments' set of stamps. Hope you have been blessed with the sunshine, long may it continue! hugs Heidi xxx
Good morning and what a bright and sunny one it is too! Have decided to leave the housework and enter a new challenge today, this one took my fancy with the theme 'Black & White plus another colour'. I have always wanted to mix these with Turquoise and I recently brought these 'Kaisercraft' flowers, so it was kind of decided for me. Its challenge # 3 over at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge . Anyway, I have used beautiful 'Daisy Bucket' papers with black Bazzill. QK Flourishes, those Turquoise flowers and some cream ones that I have coloured with my Copics. A small 'Woodware' sentiment and some 'Jelli Tots'.
Am off to make a card and wrap pressies, my Amy will be 18 this Thursday, I am more excited than she is! Have a super day! Thanks for stopping by, hugs Heidi xxx
Good evening, here is my entry for a brand new blog called Just Magnolia Challenge Blog , and if you love Magnolia's, wow are you in for a treat! I have made my card using some of the 'Winnie' paper, Labels I Nestabilities, Turq, Plum and Pink Bazzill cardstock, a Hero Arts Sentiment and flower from stash (which matched the flowers on the paper perfectly) and some Kaisercraft pearls. I have edged the corners of my card with a QK corner. I wanted to keep my DT entry quite simple this week, as I think that Winnie should have all of the attention, lol! Go look-see at the other DT entries, they are fab. Thanks for stopping by, Heidi xxx

I love doing the Pollycraft Monday Challenge , it has to be one of my favs. Their little stamps have such cheerful images and are always a pleasure to stamp out. This week's theme is 'Orange'. I have used 'Daydream', stamp, which is one of the Sherbert range. Great little image, which i have coloured in using 'Copic Ciao's'. I have decorated the inside and have used a cute Elzybells sentiment. Enjoy your evening, am off to watch Corrie and rest my aching bones, take care Heidi xxx

I am really chuffed as I love their stamps and it is one of my favourite challenges each week. Thanks so much to all of the lovely DT ladies who chose me, look forward to working and getting to know all of you better.
Here is my entry, this week's theme is two x two. Two papers, two embellishments and two brads/eyelets, nice and simple one to get your teeth into! I have gone mono with this one. I have recently purchased these gorgeous 'Daisy Bucket' papers and couldn't wait to use them. D & D 'Bubbles' stamp came to mind as she is holding such a lovely dotty flower and I wanted to use these great plastic ones from my stash box. Two large 'Bazzill' paper brads, some 'Raven' Bazzill bling scraps, a bit of bling and of course, a button! I have used glossy accents on her flower, so that it looks like the other two. I just love all of the great sentiments on these stamps, they are so versitile!
