Lily Of The Valley Challenge # 33

Good evening, after having a rather a busy week, have managed to fit another challenge in the mix. I haven't taken part in this one for a little while, but just loved this sketch over at Lily of The Valley Thursday Challenge . You don't have to use any of the LOTV images to take part in the challenge, but I love this kitty, so the rest was easy.

Wow, another week of the schools hols has gone by so quickly, its work and school uniform buying this weekend for me. There is rather a lot in the shops, hope it doesn't all sell out before I can get some!

Moving Along With The Times - Clare's Sketch and Theme

Hello, it's nearly the end of the week again, yippee!!! I have had an eventful day, my new sandals broke whilst shopping at Sainsbury's, so as I had a trolley full of shopping, I had to hobble around the shop and then try to drive home in broken sandals, I did get quite a few funny looks! I just about managed the feat, then I had to rummage around to find the receipt and then exchange them. I was lucky, they had one pair left in my size. The sandals are so comfy, I just hope that they don't break again! Anyway, its time to upload my DT card for the Moving Along With The Times Challenge . My dear friend Clare had the delightful task of coming up with a sketch and theme, and what a super one she has designed! This week's theme is 'Wedding or Anniversary'. I have left mine ppen, so that it can be either. It's a great easy sketch to work with, so I do hope you will all take part, there are some lovely stamps up for grabs, please do pop over and have a look at my fellow DT cards, they are stunning!

My card's recipe : Black Bazzill, Daisy Bucket papers, an Anya image, punched flowers, leaves and buttons. My sentiment is from Elzybells. I have decoupaged the bow and heart and have glossy accented them. Oh nearly forgot, the border punch is from Fiskars and is called 'Sunflower'.

Am off to feed the troops, have a super evening. Take care hugs Heidi xx

Mojo Monday Challenge # 95

Good evening, can't believe that Monday is here again! Thanks for all of your get well messages for Georgia, she is much better thanks and back eating me out of everything! I have had to make a new baby card for David's work colleague, so I decided to combine it with the great sketch over at Mojo Monday Challenge .

My card receipe : Blue and green (spot) Bazzill, Provocraft paper, Stampasauraus 'Baby Ellie' stamp and sentiment. QK Revolution Pin, Doodlebug bling and Anita's grosgrain ribbon.

Unfortunately, swine flu has hit Georgia's school, there are a few cases but nothing too serious. Am glad that her bug was a sickness one and not the flu! Its her last week in year 4, so I am busy making lots of pressies for the teachers. It's quite sad for her, one of which has been her teacher for two years, and another is retiring, so we have made these together and I will share them on here later in the week.

Enjoy the rest of your evening, thanks for stopping by! Heidi xx
