Hi im Heidi. Am married to David, Mum to Amy, Jessie and Georgia. I am a stay-at-home Mum who loves to craft and leave the housework, lol! We have a houseful of pets.
I am happy for anyone to take inspiration from my ideas but please do not copy any of my designs for inclusion in magazines, competitions etc. Thanks x
Good evening, after having a rather a busy week, have managed to fit another challenge in the mix. I haven't taken part in this one for a little while, but just loved this sketch over at Lily of The Valley Thursday Challenge . You don't have to use any of the LOTV images to take part in the challenge, but I love this kitty, so the rest was easy.
Recipe : Bazzill Swiss Dot Cardstock, My Mind's Eye 'Pretty Please' papers, Jelli Dots, Stampasauraus sentiment, flowers and ribbon from stash. I have paper pieced the cat and flowers after stamping on the Swiss Dot card.

Morning peeps! I have had the busiest of weeks, hence the bad blogging! Lots of crafty things and running my girlies around the county. Anyways, here is one of two DT cards for the day. Firstly, my card for Moving Along With The Times Challenge and later my Willow Sketchie Challenge card. The theme this week is 'cute as a button'. I just love this little image, thought she fitted the criteria quite well and I have added a small button as well.

Hello, it's nearly the end of the week again, yippee!!! I have had an eventful day, my new sandals broke whilst shopping at Sainsbury's, so as I had a trolley full of shopping, I had to hobble around the shop and then try to drive home in broken sandals, I did get quite a few funny looks! I just about managed the feat, then I had to rummage around to find the receipt and then exchange them. I was lucky, they had one pair left in my size. The sandals are so comfy, I just hope that they don't break again! Anyway, its time to upload my DT card for the Moving Along With The Times Challenge . My dear friend Clare had the delightful task of coming up with a sketch and theme, and what a super one she has designed! This week's theme is 'Wedding or Anniversary'. I have left mine ppen, so that it can be either. It's a great easy sketch to work with, so I do hope you will all take part, there are some lovely stamps up for grabs, please do pop over and have a look at my fellow DT cards, they are stunning!
My card's recipe : Black Bazzill, Daisy Bucket papers, an Anya image, punched flowers, leaves and buttons. My sentiment is from Elzybells. I have decoupaged the bow and heart and have glossy accented them. Oh nearly forgot, the border punch is from Fiskars and is called 'Sunflower'.
Am off to feed the troops, have a super evening. Take care hugs Heidi xx
Howdy bloggers, hoping your all well and have had a good day? I have spent most of it dodging the rain showers to and thro school. I managed to find some ME time and complete this challenge. I have been itching to use this little stamp called 'Heidi' from CC Designs, so have made this card for the Papertake Weekly Challenge . The wonderful Dawny has created yet another great sketch, do pop over and take a look at the DT cards, they are gorgeous!
My card recipe : Pink, Yellow and Turquoise Bazzill card, Doodlebug dot paper and bling, Flower stamp from SU, Fiskers Sunflower punch and my every faithfull Elzybells sentiment.
Am off to tidy my craft desk, I am such a messy crafter, not a usual Virgo at all, lol! Thanks for looking, hugs Heidi xxx
Good evening, can't believe that Monday is here again! Thanks for all of your get well messages for Georgia, she is much better thanks and back eating me out of everything! I have had to make a new baby card for David's work colleague, so I decided to combine it with the great sketch over at Mojo Monday Challenge .
My card receipe : Blue and green (spot) Bazzill, Provocraft paper, Stampasauraus 'Baby Ellie' stamp and sentiment. QK Revolution Pin, Doodlebug bling and Anita's grosgrain ribbon.
Unfortunately, swine flu has hit Georgia's school, there are a few cases but nothing too serious. Am glad that her bug was a sickness one and not the flu! Its her last week in year 4, so I am busy making lots of pressies for the teachers. It's quite sad for her, one of which has been her teacher for two years, and another is retiring, so we have made these together and I will share them on here later in the week.
Enjoy the rest of your evening, thanks for stopping by! Heidi xx
Hello, at last the weekend has arrived. Unfortunately my little bubby Georgia has now got my bug and is off school poorly today, so whilst she watched another dvd, I managed to get this card finished for the Stamp With Stampavie Challenge . Card Recipe : I have used 'Gretel' a new stamp from CC Designs, Daisy Bucket papers, Bazzill Bling in Lime and Purple. A Magnolia sentiment and a Martha Stewart 'Hydranga' punch. I have added some glitter glue to her wings and to the flower centres and some sparkly stickers to the corner edges of the card, hope you like?
Am hoping to get another challenge done today, a work colleague of David's has just had a baby boy, so have to wade through my stamp draws to find the right stamp. May take me a while, I have six draws of stamps, lol! Have a super weekend, even if it rains, Heidi xxx

Before I tackle the housework, here is my DT card for Willow Sketchie Challenge . This week the lovely Deanne has come up with a great sketch, I have used the lovely new download, 'Fairy Bella', isn't she a cute fairy? Morning, wow another scorcher ahead! Bring on the rain, thats what I say! It's due here tommorrow! Anyway, here is my DT card for this week's challenge from Moving Along With The Times . Such a great sketch from Clare (Threadbare). The colour scheme this week is Ice Blue and White, got me thinking I can tell you! I was determined not to go down the Christmas route, so I have thought COOL!
My card : Papers, Bazzill Bling etc. all in cool colours. I hadn't used this little Anya before, I must say she must be my favourite of the three, love the flip flops and sunglasses, really cute! I have paper pieced her dress and have glossy accented her sunglasses. She sits on some Bazzill Bling and Doodlebug paper from stash. I have used a great QK flourish and a large white flower and bling from my stash box, have used an CB embossing folder on the centre and the sentiment is from SU.
Our lovely DT have come up with some stunning cards again this week and there are some great prizes up for grabs. Among which is a two week guest DT slot. Am looking forward to popping over to see all of your entries. Keep cool! hugs Heidi xxx
