Little Claire - Sneeky Peak - Day 4

Here we are, Day 4 already and this is my favourite of all of the new Red Gingham/Little Claire images. Its called 'Swirly Whirly Owl' Anyone who knows me well, will know that I LOVE OWLS, so this little image just had to come out to play, the card was sooo easy to make!

I have used a Marianne Christmas Pine Needle and leaf dies, shaped Nestie, Chocolate Chip & Crumb Cake SU cardstock, and a new fabulous little tag sentiment stamp from Red Gingham. Coloured in with Promarkers and a little linen thread for the tag.

Due to these new images being so popular this week, Little Claire have now uploaded them on to the website, so pop on over and fill your baskets!

Back tommorrow, with the last sneeky peek.

Happy Thursday!

Little Claire Day Samples - Set # 2

Good morning, just a quick post today as previously promised, here are my last three cards from the Little Claire Crawley Day, held last weekend. I am off to the airport shortly to get Jess, as she is due back from Spain shortly. She has been on a school Spanish trip as part of her Spanish coursework. Have missed her so much, and I cannot wait to see her.

My first card is a Tee Pee one, using 'Ever So Lovely' image on brown cardstock, pink gingham papers, Marianne dies and Red Gingham Sentiment. Sorry about the crappy photo, was taken in a bit of a hurry lol1

Next is a straight forward Christmas card which I started the ladies off on, its using the new 'We Three Kings' image. Black cardstock, black dot paper, Little Claire Glitter sheets and cardcandy finish the card.

Lastly, we unfortunately didnt have the time to do this door hanger using 'Cold Crisp Kisses'. It is quite quick to put together and have added some Marianne snowflakes in paper and card to finish it off. Right, Jess' flight has just got in so must fly lol! Have a wonderful Saturday, I am going to spend the rest of mine catching up with some dt cards, hope you are crafting too?

hugs

Little Claire Crawley Day Samples

Good afternoon, I am thinking of changing my blog name to 'Bad Blogger', sorry not been about again, have been up to my eyes in samples, classes and craft shows, so blogging has had to take a back seat in my life over the last few weeks.

Anyway, I wanted to share half of my cards from our Little Claire Day here in Crawley over last weekend. We had lots of lovely ladies crafting over Saturday, eleven cards in all. Lots of fun and frolics were had, and we are already planning another day in May 2012. Gill and I held classes and here are three of my cards we made.

The LC image used on this card was 'A Little Bird told Me', it's one of my favourite images and I have used it on a 'Winter' birthday card.

Here is another fav image of mine, 'Splishing & Splashing'. We paper-pieced the umbrella and not really shown, was that we used glossy accents on the raindrops and puddles.

This pocket card was made using a 12x12 sheet of lovely daisy paper and we used the 'Gerbera' set of stamps and turned them into daisies.

I hope you like our makes, three more to show you in my next post. All stamps available from Little Claire Shop . Am off to tuck myself up in bed, have a horrible head cold which doesnt want to go away. Lots of Lemsip and sleep for me!

Have a lovely afternoon!

Little Claire Monthly Challenge # 14 - Christmas

Good morning, Sunday has come around quickly again. Had a very busy week again, so its nice to chill out today. David is working away, Amy & Jess have gone shopping so it's just me and a poorly Georgia today. She has a cold and a temperature, so am hoping she is much better for school tommorrow, and I have to get myself prepped and ready for the Little Claire - Crawley Day this weekend. Am so looking forward to meeting and teaching all of the attendees, its going to be mad but lots of fun!

Anyway, it's 'Christmas' over at Little Claire's this month, we want to see all of your creations. Its a great way to start those cards for Christmas, am trying to do at least one a week nowm, but must admit its hard to get in the mood, while the sun is shining outside!

To my card, I have used a really cute little image called 'Owlgate', coloured in with Promarkers and have addded some Marianne snowflakes. Sentiemnt is a Red Gingham one, also available from the website.

There is a great prize to win, all you have to do is enter the challenge, using or not using a Little Claire image. Am looking forward to seeing what you all come up with when I pop by your blogs. The design team have come up with some stunning christmas themed creations this time, so please do pop on by the blog.

Right, better have some lunch, check on the patient and get cracking with my prep. Have a wonderful Sunday, whatever you do!

hugs

'Ever So Lovely' & Ally Pally Demo Samples

Happy World Cardmaking Day! Hope you are going to spend your Saturday cardmaking like myself. Here are a couple of cards I have made using the brand new super lovely image 'Ever so Lovely', from Little Claire . The name says it all!

On my second card, I covered the image with a sparkle sticker sheet, also available from Little Claire's. Can't stop playing with them, want to cover everything in sparkle lol! Here are some of my samples that I made for Ally Pally. First one is using the'Good Morning Robin' stamp set and I have made an aperature so that the image turns around and on the reverse of the image, is a Red Gingham sentiment.

Same image used here but in mono tones, again covered in sparkle, love it! Have added some Marianne die swirls and snowflakes and card candy. Papers are from Craft Creations.

Little Rudy is on a stamp called 'Deck the Horns', again lots of swirls and snowflakes.

'Mr Darcy's postbox' was used on this card with MS snowflake punch, a bunting template and white spotty ribbon.

Finally, here is the card that I made in front of over a hundred ladies at the Ally Pally demo. Yep, I was rather nervous, to say the least, but the ladies were very kind and patient and I really enjoyed myself after all of the panic. A big thanks to the wonderful Ali who demoed before me and helped me to set up, your a star! I used the Red Gingham image 'Cold Crisp Kisses', which I really love. I coloured in with glitter and made flowers from punches.

The sentiment inside is a Penny Black and the frond punch is from Woodware.

Hope you like what you have seen, I am off to join in the cardmaking frenzy that will be happening all over the world today, any excuse to leave the housework. Thanks so much for stopping by and any comments left, I appreciate and love reading them all!

hugs
