Tea for One?

Good Friday morning to you! The sun is shining here today which always puts me in a good mood!
Am sharing a little design team card I made recently for Hobby Art, using a gorgeous set of stamps called 'Time For Tea'.  If you love it as much as I do, you can treat yourself to it HERE. The lovely Jenny will be back on our screens on Create & Craft in early March, so do be sure to set your Skyplus,
I have used some Graphic 45 papers, a huge doily and have coloured in with Promarkers, as always! I love the bunting in this set and have paper-pieced some onto the card.
Last day of half-term today, so have lots of Mum's taxi duties to do and then get my tote ready to demo at the Bracknell show. If your coming along, do pop by and say hi!
Have a lovely sunny day!

Little Claire Monthly Challenge # 42 - 'Monotone'

Hi there, I do hope you are having sunshine today? We have had a few hours of it here, its been so nice to get into the garden, clean out my animals and enjoy the spring bulbs that are popping up and haven't been washed away from all of the rain.
Firstly, thank you to all that left me comments on my last post for my altered bag.  They were so lovely to receive, I do appreciate every one of them.
Here is my card for this month's 'Little Claire Monthly Challenge'.  The theme this month is 'Monotone', so we would like to see any cards or projects etc, incorporating that theme.
Here is my card, using 'Daisy Bear' & 'Little Beauties' Tag Sentiments. I have used a Tim Holtz rosette die, Go-Kreate frilly shaped die, a Memory Box butterfly and lots of lovely large Hobbycraft pearls.  The papers are from Graphic 45.
I will be having a full house for tea this evening, as my eldest daughter Amy will be popping around to see us all.  She lives locally but works long hours, so we don't get to see her very much.  It will be nice to have us all together at one time.
Have a lovely Sunday afternoon!

New Stamp Releases over at Little Claire

Am still trying to catch up after my time away in Devon. I have craft bits everywhere that really need putting away and my tote still needs unpacking.
Anyway, the lovely peeps over at Little Claire are launching lots of glorious silhoette stamps this week, today is the turn of : 'Do all the things' and 'Elephants'.
I am sharing two cards today, the first using 'Do all the things', my 'Elephants' card will be shared later when I have taken a better photo of it, the light here recently has been so awful, I need to treat myself to a camera tent.
Again, the photo is pretty dark, I do apologise.
Once again, Little Claire are sharing a competition on their blog HERE.  Just pop on over, tell Gill what new stamp is your favourite, and you could win it!  The competition runs until Monday next, the 10th, when a winner will be picked!
Back later with my other card, have a lovely day!

A Spring Deckchair

Good morning,
Hope you have had a lovely weekend?  I got back from Exeter on Saturday evening after having a wonderful week in Devon.  Thank you to my lovely friend Barbara who drove us down and to Ali & Iain from Ali-Craft, who looked after Barbara and I really well. The ladies that attended our workshops were so lovely, it was a pleasure to teach them.  I also managed to catch up with a few other teamies, so the weekend was a great success!
Back to normality, the cooking and cleaning are waiting for me, so just time to share my card for my 'Little Claire Likes' project over at Little Claire today.
I have used the gorgeous 'Deckchair' card and have given it a Spring feel.  I have used some gorgeous papers from Dovecraft, lots of kraft card and a few pearls!
You can get this stamp at the special price of £3.99 (normally £5.50) until Thursday, 6th February or whilst stocks last, just whizz over HERE.
I still have my craft tote to empty and sort and I treated myself to a small Cricut yesterday, so have to go have a play with that if I can find the time.  I have been thinking about getting one for several years now, but as I am a Spellbinders girly, didn't think I needed one.  Anyway, I gave in as I got it for a good price, along with a few cartridges.
Have a great day, thanks for stopping by.
