Little Claire's New Challenge Blog

On Saturday 5th February Little Claire will be starting new monthly Little Claire Challenges , so we just had to celebrate by sharing some fabulous candy!

All you need to do, for a chance to win the stamps and flowers in the picture, is add the photo of the candy and link to our candy in your sidebar and become a follower if you're not already. It would be great if you would also blog about our new challenges to help us get the word around, but it's not a requirement for the candy. Then just add a link to your blog below.

The winner will be announced on Saturday 5th February , when the first challenge is launched.

Good luck and please go spread the word!

Have a super weekend, hope to be back later with a challenge,

hugs

To my card, I have been playing with my new Labels # 10 Nesties and have made a little card using Stamping UP card and papers. The flower stamp is also SU (one of my favs as you may know by now) stones and buttons from stash and the sentiment is Hero Arts. It is perfect for my friend's birthday this week, as she likes cupcakes!

Georgia is having a day off school today. There is a nasty sickness bug going around here and over 80 students were off yesterday, so they have shut the school. We will be doing lots of crafting and watching her Dr Who dvd box set.

Have a lovely weekend and thanks for dropping by!

Moving Along With The Times Challenge # 81 'Dreams'

Good afternoon, it's challenge time again over at Moving Along With The Times . The lovely Brenda has given us the fabby theme of 'Dreams', so get those thinking caps on and create something wonderful.

My DT card this week is a little different. I love to travel and have been lucky enough to go to a lot of places in Europe, but one in particular city has escaped me as of yet, Paris! So when I saw this lovely new stamp set from Stamping Up, I had to buy it! Its a dream of mine to go there soon, now that my girls are of an age that I can leave them, I love lots of films and tv programmes set in Paris, ie, Sex in the City and French Kiss with Meg Ryan, so thats the inspiration for my card.

I made my card using lots SU products this time, papers, stamps and ribbon. The punch is a Martha Stewart and the red & black buttons are from my stash box.

To our sponsor, we are lucky enough to have Crafter's Companion are offering a prize of £10.00 to spend in their online shop, so good luck with your entries, am looking forward to seeing what you make with this theme.

Get your entries in to us by, next Wednesday 20th January 2011 by 8pm, when the winner & top three will be chosen.

Had better get on with my DT work. Some of my Little Claire cards were featured on Create & Craft yesterday, I was so pleased to see them on there. Steve was a complete star demoing and showcasing LC new stamp sets, most of which sold out! I am off to make some more samples for the next show, do catch Steve on there next week, I will confirm times & date nearer the time.

Have a great afternoon! Thanks for stopping by!

Teddy Bo Tuesday!

Good morning, I am so pleased to announce that I have been asked to join a brand new Design Team, Teddy Bo Challenge . We have been given these gorgeous little images 'Teddy Bo & Teddy Bea' to play with and they are just the cutest images to colour and use!

I am pleased to announce that the Teddy Bo Shop is now open for business. You can now purchase these gorgeous images via the link above. There is a 'Special Offer' from today until Sunday 16th January, you can buy three images and get one FREE.

We are also launching Teddy Bo Tuesday Challenge today so do hope that you will join us! We have some lovely candy on offer for one lucky peep, from our first sponsor, Wild Orchard Crafts , so a big thank you to them for their support.

There will also be a 'Top Three' the lucky crafters will be able to choose a digi stamp each from Teddy Bo's Store. The challenges will be fortnightly on a Tuesday, which gives you lots of time to take part.

Our first challenge is 'ANYTHING GOES' but we ask that you MUST use a 'Teddy Bo' or 'Teddy Bea' image on your card. You can combine our challenge with any others, as long as the main image on your creation is a 'Teddy Bo or Teddy Bea.

To my cards, well ladies first! Here is Teddy Bea, isn't she gorgeous!

I have coloured her in with Promarkers, sat her on Brown Bazzill card, My Mind's Eye - 'Quite Contrary' Paper and surrounded her with lots of flowers, fonts and bling, all from my stash. My sentiment is from Hero Arts.

To the main man, Teddy Bo, such a handsome chap!

Here he is, sitting on my recently purchased Labels 10 Nesties. I have used Brown Bazzill, Bo Bunny paper, photo corner punch, Sentiment from SU, button, thread & card candy from my large stash box. Once again, coloured in with Promarkers and I have inked around the frame.

I am looking forward to popping over to see your entries.

Have a lovely afternoon,

hugs

Little Claire Stamp Design Preview

Happy Saturday to You! Here are a couple of samples I have made using two new stamps available to buy now, over at Little Claire's Shop .

I'll Be There For You!

Using this cute little image (love the turtle!), I have made a tag/hidden message card in bright yellows, I found this wonderful dotty paper, think it's from 'Yellow Bicycle'. Yellow card & ribbon from SU, Flowers from the Little Claire shop and sentiment from Craftwork Cards. Scallop and Pointy Dies from stash, coloured in with Promarkers. You can buy this little stamp set for £5.50.

Dog In The Window

This little stamp set (£7.50 when you join the club) is one of about ten new sets designed by Steve, isn't he clever! He will be showcasing some of the sets on Ideal World, Create & Craft this Wednesday, 12th January. Do catch the show, you may even see some of my samples on the TV, am so excited!

I used some Brown Swiss Dot Cardstock and a grey piece from scrap, to make my card. Have decoupaged the windowbox and have added some brown pearls. I used glossy accents on the windows, it makes very shiny glass! Have coloured in the images with Promarkers and the sentiment is from the set.

Have a fabby evening, have loads more samples to make up for the show, so must go feed the family then play lol!

Have a lovely evening!

My Favourite Five Cards From 2010

Happy New Year, thanks for all of your lovely messages and emails. We had a fantastic New Year and now its countdown to back-to-school lol! I love having the family home, but will be very glad when they all go back to work/school this week.

The lovely Debby has some lovely candy on offer if you share your Top 5 Creations from 2010. Wow, I didn't realise just how many cards I made last year, so it took me quite a while to pick just five. Here are mine :

My first is a Tri-Shutter Fold Card, I really love making these and here I have gone a bit shabby-chic using distress inks and butterflies, I really love the colours and papers!

This Chrimbo card is using on of my all-time fav Penny Black stamps. I really loved the colours together!

This male themed card was fun to make. I love this Anya image and am really pleased how it turned out, especially my tin-foiled fish lol! Also, it started my big button fettish lol!

I really love Easel cards, so had to include one in my listing, This little Penny Black 'Mimi' image is sooooo cute, it reminds me of my Jess when she was younger, she is still rather partial to a cupcake or three lol!

Well, this has to be my favourite card of the last year. Love all of it, which is not like me at all, I never really like anything I do, but I won a challenge with this, so was quite pleased with it. I LOVE the Penny Black cat image, it's so my Molly-Moo! The papers were some that I have had for years and were very unloved, am so glad I found them again.

It's been great fun going through my cards and seeing how much my style has evolved, I do hope you like them all too! Here's to loads more blogging and challenges!

Am off to do some more cards, have a lovely afternoon!

hugs
