Little Claire Likes ..... 'Swirly Whirly Owls'

Good afternoon, am feeling much better today, just very tired and finding it hard to get going again lol.

Thank you so much for my lovely blogging pals that left me 'get well' messages/emails, it was so lovely of you all.

My card today is featuring a 'Swirly Whirly' - 'Owls' card that I have made for Little Claire. It is featured today, in the 'Little Claire Likes' weekly post. You can purchase the lovely stamp that I have used, for only £3.50 (limited time only). It is so gorgeous!

I have teamed it up with some gorgeous kraft cardstock, papers from the 'First Edition' paper pack called 'New Bloom' and some gorgeous vintage self-adhesive lace.  All of which can be purchased on the website here.

Am busy finishing off some DT cards I have to do, they are taking longer than normal as my mojo is taking its time to return, but isn't this sunshine we are having just wonderful? I am going to take my lunch and coffee and sit in the garden, am sure the Vitamin E will do me some good lol.

Have a wonderful afternoon, and I really do appreciate each and every comment I receive, thank you.

big hugs

Heidi

Little Claire 'Poppies'

Good afternoon, am a little late in posting this.  I have been poorly all day and have been back to bed. Have had a bug for a week now and it just doesn't want to go away.

Anyway, Little Claire are launching two brand new stamps today.  'Poppies' is what I have used on these two cards.  One in traditional colours and the other in corals, like our Californian Poppies that we have in our garden.

This gorgeous stamp is available from today for £4.99, but you could enter the competition where you could win two new stamps, the 'Poppies' and the 'Family Ted' stamps (my cards to follow later).

So if you would like your chance to win yourself a new 'Poppies' and 'Family Ted' stamp just leave Little Claire a comment letting them know what your favourite flower is and they will draw two lucky winners early next week, week commencing Monday, 6th May.

 Good luck!

Back later with my 'Family Ted' cards,

Heidi

A Scrap Page

Good morning, here is a little scrap page that my ladies made last week at my class.  It has been far too long since I scrapped, I really love making memory books.  My page is an 8" x 8" and the photo is of my Jess and her lovely girlfriends that are all going their separate ways in a few weeks, when they leave school.  Several of them are going off to college and the rest, including my girl are staying in the sixth form. I am going to get busy and make them all little memory books.

The paper I have used is 'My Mind's Eye', lots of lovely kraft card, birdcage, bird and tickets from Craftwork cards.  I have used a great banner die from Sizzix and some great ric-rac ribbon.

Am really enjoying this lovely sunshine we are lucky enough to be having, have got lots of gardening done.

Lots of cards to make, so off to the craft room,

Heidi

Quick Cards Magazine Card

Hi there, here is my card that is being featured in 'Quick Cards' this month.

It's a little pocket card using the gorgeous Little Claire,  'You're So Tweet' stamp set, First Edition papers, SU ribbon and some pearls.

Here in the inside of the card. I have used a corner rounder and brown inkpad around the pocket and image.  Sorry that my photos are a bit pants, am still searching for the originals. Am thinking that my lovely daughter has tidied up my pc folders, bless her lol! The colours are more vibrant in the flesh, am off to check out my folders.

There are some great stamp releases coming up next Monday, so do make sure you stop by the website to catch them.

Thanks for stopping by,

Heidi

Little Claire Likes .... 'Man Tree' Slider Card

Good morning, Happy Monday to you! I am sharing another card I have made for 'Little Claire Likes'.  Today is the turn of 'Man Tree', a great male themed image for all of those hard-to-make cards for the men in your life.

I have made a quick little slider card which shows off the image really well.  I have combined it with a great sentiment from another must-have male themed set called 'Made for Men' and also some stitching from 'Georgina's Buttons & Stitching' set.

The 'Man Tree' stamp set can be purchased at a special price today and for a few days only.

Call Carol in the office on

0844 800 4376

and you can purchase this stamp at the reduced price of

£4.50 (normally £6.50)

I have a sore back today, too much gardening in the sunshine over the weekend.  Am in need of a long soak in my tub, which I may go and do when I have finished this post lol.

Have a great day, enjoy the sunshine if you have any and thanks for popping by my blog today.

Heart's & Flower's

Good morning, here is my card that I have made for 'Little Claire Likes' today.  I have used the gorgeous set called 'Heart's & Flower's'.  It has loads of elements including a gorgeous tree.

I have used an easel card blank, turned on the side and have decorated inside as well as out. I have stamped out the border image on the sides and have added some lovely dies.

The set is shown below and is available on the website for this week only for
the great price of £6.99 (usual RRP: £8.99).

Had a fabby day at the beach yesterday, look at this gorgeous photo that Georgia took. The starfish that we found in the photo stuck itself to Jess' hand and we nearly had to bring it home lol.

Off out into the garden, have some pansies to plant out and some digging to get done.

Have a great day and hope the sun is shining where you are.
