Over at MAWTT, it's the turn of my dear chum Hazel, she has come up with a real stunner of a sketch and the theme of 'Cute Companions'. So any little cute images, ie, Daisy & Dandelion, Penny Black, Popcorn Bear etc ..... it's up to you, just follow the sketch and join in!

We have two prizes on offer this week, firstly a set of Special Edition Daisy & Dandelion stamps and secondly, some D & D decoupage sheets, all kindly donated by The Glitter Pot.

I decided to use this cute little image from Penny Black and have made a valentine's card for my lovely hubs who will be home from his travels over the weekend. I am so excited, as he has found a large craft shop whilst he has been away, and has brought me some goodies for Valentine's day, better than any choccies or roses, lol!

Allsorts Challenge # 38 - Get Distressed with Buttons & A Bow!

Good afternoon, I can't believe that Sunday has come around again! Have had such a busy week, mainly due to my little bubby Georgia being poorly with Viral Tonsilitus. she is on the mend and should be going back to school tommorrow, thanks to everyone who has sent her get-well messages, it was lovely of you all!

Here is my entry for Allsorts Challenge . The theme this week is 'Distressed with Buttons and a bow'. I decided to not use a stamp for my card, I have been neglecting my Cuttlebug bits and this butterfly is just beautiful! There are some lovely stamps and ribbons up for grabs this week, so do pop on over and take a look at the lovely DT cards.

My card is a new take on a tri-shutter card and I have taken three different pictures so that you can see it up close. I have started off with distressing all of the edges and inking them using my Momento brown inkpad. I have used some brown and khaki Bazzill cardstock. Kaisercraft 'Dancing Jewel - Amethyst' paper. QK Scallop die cut shapes in two sizes. Cuttlebug Butterfly, Kaisercraft flowers, bling and pearls. Ribbon from Amercian Crafts. Buttons and ink pad from stash.

Have had a wonderful day crafting with Georgia, got visited by my bruv and now have to go cook Roast Beef with all of the trimmings yum! Enjoy the rest of your day, love and hugs Heidi xxx

Moving Along With The Times Challenge # 32 - Clare's Sketch/Theme

Good afternoon, hope your day has been fun? Mine has been spent looking after Georgia who has a bad cold, we have watched loads of DVD's so am glad of the break to upload my DT challenge cards.

The first is for Moving Along With The Times . Our theme this week is 'Childhood Memories', which our lovely Clare has thought of, the DT have made some stunners again, so do pop on over to take a look! I have used some ice-cream coloured striped paper from Papermania that reminded me of childhood days out at the seaside, so when I found this little CC Designs image, it all came together. We have two prizes on offer this week, the lucky winner will win a Guest DT spot and some digi images from Tracy at Crafty Catz . So go find your images or decoupage, whatever you want to use, that reminds you of your childhood and let us have your creations by 8pm on Wednesday 10th February.
