Little Claire Monthly Challenge # 11 - 'Things With Wings

Good afternoon, OMG it has been two weeks since my last post, sorry but I have been such a busy bee, not a lot of time to craft. I have been busy with home things and catching up with old friends. Georgia has had her Year 6 Leavers play, 'The Lion King' which the cast performed so wonderfully, it was a very emotional evening, not a dry eye in the school hall. Georgia played Scar and was fantastic, yep I know, I am biased lol! The scenery, music and singing was wonderful, such a professional production - well done Mr Ryan & Miss Dale! Anyway, here is a photo of her all done up Lion style! Wednesday is going to be a very hard day for me and the mums of the Year 6, it will be the last time that I ever go to the school, I have been doing the school run for 15 years, so its all change.

Ok, now to the new challenge over at Little Claire's . They are running monthly from today and the DT have come up with some gorgeous creations. Below is the prize, including a brand new stamp set, papers, brads and dt idea sheets.

I have used three lots of Little Claire stamp sets on my easel card. 'Spade-slide', 'Floral Set' and a Red Gingham sentiment from a fabby new set of twelve that can be purchased over in the shop @ £12.99.

How I made my card : LC White Scalloped Card, SU Crumb Cake Card, My Mind's Eye Papers, Sizzix Scallop Die, Scallop circle punch, Aquamarkers and Kaisercraft cream pearls. I have edged with Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink.

You have until Saturday 13th August, to enter the challenge. Looking forward to seeing all of your entries.

Had better go and get some tea, have been out and about today, dropping the girls here, there and everywhere. One to a bowling party, the other to the hairdressers then Georgia is off to a Leaver's Disco this evening, so David & I actually have an evening all to ourselves, first time in ages!

Have a lovely weekend and thanks for stopping by,

Little Claire New July Club Stamp Release

Good morning, oh what a bad blogger I have been! Do I have an excuse? Well I have been very busy with my demos for Newbury, which was wonderful! So lovely to meet up with some blogging buddies and meet lots of like-minded mad women like myself, lol! Also have a poorly little piggy to look after, she has a chest infection and needs a lot of love and care. Georgia has had her last sports day at middle school, it was great fun, she came first for nearly every race, but guess who forgot her hat and now has a sunburnt head? Yep, you guessed right ME lol!

Anyway, I wanted to let you know about the new stamps that are now available to buy over at Little Claires . These little cuties are so gorgeous to work with, I am a big hedgehog fan, so these are so right for me. There are two new sets of sentiment stamps too, both at £12.99 for twelve stamps per pack, what a bargain! What I love about these stamps is, the wordings are so different from any other stamp sets that I have seen and are more personal, which is great for the card receiver.

Here are some of my DT cards using them :

Also, Gill & Steve are doing some wonderful bargain purchases, today's can be snapped up for £5 and if you love Giraffe's you will be in for a treat! Whizz on over there, this offer is only available until midday tommorrow.

Georgia goes to her new secondary school for the day tommorrow, not sure who is more nervous, me or her! Her new form tutor is one we have known since Amy went there, so we can relax somewhat.

Ok, had better get some lunch and so some blog hopping, sorry if I havent been over to see your makes lately, will make up for it this afternoon. Oh and don't forget to pop on over to Little Claire's and grab yourself a bargain or three!

Have a great day!

LOTV Thursday Challenge # 102 - 'Sketch'

Good evening, second post from me today. Have been playing with my lovely Aquamarkers that I purchased back in February, yes I know its been a long time coming and they needed to be played with, I really love them and what a great combination, new LOTV images and Aquamarkers - heaven!

I have followed a great sketch from Donalda over at the Lili Of The Valley and I thought it was about time I entered one of their challenges, it has been far too long since I did. I treated myself to three of their many new gorgeous images recently, I just loved this little one girl with her bear.

Anyway, on my card, I have used some gorgeous My Mind's Eye 'Stella Rose' papers, an old QK die, MS Lacy Border, heart and Flower punches. Dragonfly embellie from stash, Craftwork Cards sentiment and Kaisercraft pearls. Coloured in with Aquamarkers and edged with Antique Linen, Distress Ink.

Off to have fish and chips for tea, and strawberries & ice cream for pud, yum! Have a lovely evening!

Little Claire Challenge # 10 'Pink & Brown'

Good morning from a very wet and soggy Crawley! It's so lovely in my garden though, all of the water starved plants are drinking up all the rain drops, and it's nice that its not so hot and sticky now. My buddlea bushes are in full bloom, so the butterflies will be arriving shortly!

Anyway, Challenge time again over at Little Claire's . This week we have the theme of 'Pink & Brown', such beautiful colours together! We have a lovely prize, as you can see in the photo below, love those Echo Park papers, they are so lush! Also, a LC stamp called 'Floral Border', you get four sheets of Craftwork Card push-out sentiments, gorgeous roses and some assorted ribbons.

To my card, I have made another of the wondeful stepper cards in Brown & Pink cardstock from Stamping Up. Have used the lovely little "Blissful' LC stamp, my SU border punch, Top Note Die and sentiment stamp. I have coloured her in with distress inks, Tattered Rose & Brushed Corderoy and have added some Kaisercraft pearls.

You have until Friday 8th July to enter our challenge, please follow the rules as stated. Looking forward to popping over your blogs and seeing what you have made.

Am loft sorting today, have so many clothes going back to the 1980's, think its time for a big clearout, lol!

Enjoy your Saturday !
