A Christmas House

Good evening, yep it has been a while since my last post, lots of craftyness has been my way, so not a lot of blogging time. I have been busy demoing at Ally Pally last weekend, it was the first time I have demoed to over a 100 ladies, I was so nervous but had such a great response, which was so lovely. I thought that my lovely hubs had uploaded all of my photos of my cards from his Iphone, but I can't find them, so will have to share them with you tommorrow.

Anyway, here is a card I have made using the lovely new 'Christmas House' stamp set from Little Claire .

I have used the fabulous glitter sticker sheets (£4.50 for five), which I have covered the image with, it gives such a great finish to your cards. Hope you can see the glitter?

Product used, Blue cardstock, Bo Bunny Dotty Paper, Marianne Die, Swirls & Snowflakes and pearls from Mei Flower. Coloured in with Promarkers.

Off to watch 'Strictly', will be back tommorrow with my Ally Pally cards, enjoy your evening!

Thanks for popping by,

Heidi

Little Claire Monthly Challenge # 13 - 'Black & White'

Good morning, it's challenge time once again over at Little Claire's . This month we want to see 'Black & White' creations, my favourite colour combo, very classy! You have until Friday 7th October to enter and you could win the above pile of goodies. You don't have to use LC images but if you do, you could also get our Top three badge, which is really cute!

To my card, well I have used this lovely little 'Spikey Flower' image and have decoupaged the centre after stamping on a LC die cut circle (£1.50 for 36). Card blank and papers from Craftwork Cards, QK Die, MS Doily Lace Punch and Red Gingham sentiment. Covered with Cosmic Shimmer and Black Soot Distress Ink pad.

Wow what a busy week I have had, Georgia is loving her new school, thank you to all that have sent her good luck wishes, she was very touched. I have managed to get so much done at home, now I don't have to do school runs anymore, although I do miss the playground banter. Am spending the weekend crafting, have so many projects going at the moment, dt cards, birthdays and class cards, I won't be coming out of my craft room until they are done. David has promised to be my coffee bitch and keep me topped up, bless him! Whatever you are doing, have a good one and hope the weather is warmer for you than it has been here this week.

hugs

Little Claire Weekly Blog Project

Good evening, it's been so quiet here today now that my girls have gone back to school, have managed to get the whole house cleaned and tidied and some craft done too lol!

I have done a blog project for Little Claire using 'Made for Men' stamp set, which you can purchase over at the shop for £5.00, for a limited time only.

Instructions on how I made my card are shown on the LC blog . I have used Promarkers & Distress Inks to colour on my card and some linen thread tied to the side. It's a great little stamp set, especially if you are like me and struggle with male cards. I have three brothers and normally cheat and buy them their birthday cards lol!

Have a lovely evening, lots of the box tonight including Red or Black, compulsive viewing me thinks!

hugs

Georgia's First Day of Secondary & Some Cards

Good morning, it's Georgia's first day at secondary today, doesn't she look all grown up lol? I was more nervous then her this morning, she has been so looking forward to starting in Year 7, and she was all smiles as she went into school with her big sister Jess.

I really love having my girls home, but it is so lovely to have some quiet time here, without the latest cd's playing or some loud programme on the tv, am so appreciating being able to craft with no noise lol!

Anyway, I wanted to share some cards I recently made for . I have used some of their gorgeous new stamps which are available via the web-shop now.

My first card is one using the September Club stamp, it is called 'Delivering Christmas Wishes' and can be purchased for only £8.00. There are so many elements in this set and a fab little sentiment to match. I have coloured in using Promarkers, MS snowflake punch, snowflake die from Spellbinders and my ribbon is from QVC.

My next card is using 'Good Morning Robin' (£5.50 from shop), I love this little image, anyone who knows me, knows that I love birdhouses and robins, so this image will get lots of use on my Chrimbo cards. Again Spellbinders snowflake and sentiment is from a fabulous set from Little Claire.

Lastly, here is 'Penguin Stuart', such a cutie at only £3.50! We recently went to Devon on holiday and we visited a coastal centre in Torquay, where we could get up close with penguins, Seals and Cormorants, it was such a wonderful place to visit, penguins are such funny little characters! I have used a Sizzix Die, Red check paper from LC, snowflake die & sentiment as before. I have used distress inks around the image and have coloured him in with Promarkers.

Have a wonderful day, have hours and hours of tv to catch up on and loads of cards to make. I will try not to leave it so long between posts and if I am lucky, may be able to join in a few challenges lol!

hugs

Not enough hours in the day!

Good morning, sorry it has been a while since I blogged last, as my post title suggests, there just havent been enough hours in the day to fit in everything. Life seems to of taken over, and I cannot believe that Georgia starts secondary school in just over a weeks time! Am all prepared apart from the shoes, have a trip to Brighton next week to shoe shop, fingers crossed we manage to get hold of some.

Its scary how time flies when your having fun! We have just come back from a lovely break in Devon, where we had great weather and it was hard to drag Georgia away from the sea. I think I have finally caught up with all of the washing that we brought back and have managed some ME time to craft, early mornings are the best time, while the girls are in bed lol!

Anyway, I had forgotten to share some of my sample cards from the Stamparama show @ Stevenage, here are just four of them, will share the rest when I get around to loading them on here.

I have used all new stamps from Red Gingham exclusive from Little Claire . Images used are : 'Little Town of Bethlehem', 'Room with a view - Seasons' set, and lastly 'Cold Crisp Kisses'. All coloured in with Promarkers.

Its another rainy day here today, so lots of crafting to be done, have a few exciting projects to complete, fourteen cards in total, so had better get on with them.

Enjoy your day and bank holiday weekend,

Heidi
