New Christmas Postcards

 

Good afternoon, there is a brand new set of gorgeous 'Christmas Postcard' stamps out today from Little Claire.

 

They are Christmas themed and are just right for your Christmas cards.  Sorry to mention the dreaded 'C' word in August, but I know lots of ladies everywhere have already made there cards by now lol!

A Winter Aga

Vintage Reindeer Card

 

Good afternoon, am sharing a Vintage Reindeer card with you today.  My ladies made this last week at our monthly class.  It was very quick and easy card to make, especially if you have quite a few to make, like I do each Christmas.  I always struggle to get them all done and end up cheating, but this year I am making sure that all family and friends get my homemade cards.

 

On my card today, I have used a great little stamp from Crafty Individuals, lots of red card & ink and a great little sentiment from Stamping Up.  The snowflake die is from Sizzix, the button is a memory box die.

 

We had some fantastic news yesterday.  Our Jess got her GCSE results and got

One B

 

We are so very proud of her! I should have got her five gold stars instead of the one she is holding here lol!

 

 

She is off to sixth form in a couple of weeks to start her A Level's, the world is her oyster!

 

Ok, off to get some DT work finished and help finish the decorating.

A Nativity Scene

.Morning, hope your Monday is going well? I had already done Tesco's, went early to avoid the rush lol! So I now have the rest of the day to disappear into my craft room and hopefully get creative.  Due to my back giving me problems, the old crafting mojo has been away on a holiday :( So am hoping its returned fully refreshed and raring to go today.
 

Here is my regular Monday blog project using a Little Claire favourite stamp.  Today is the turn of 'Room with a View - Nativity' set.  Which for four days only, is reduced to £6.99 (normally £8.99).

 

It is a great set, full of images that you can mix and match.  I have used the little 'star' and 'crown' images to decorate a piece of plain white card, as shown above.
 

 

My slider card can fold flat to fit into an envelope.  The instructions/products used list can be seen on the blog.

 

Here is the back view of the card, where I have used the 'crown' image on the pully.

Little Claire Monthly Challenge # 36 - 'Holiday's'

 

Happy Sunday!  Hope you are having a restful one? David is still beavering away at the decorating, we are nearly there, just a few pieces of paper left to put up in the dining room. The paper we have chosen is so much brighter than the last and it has really opened up the room.

 

Here is my 'Holiday' themed card for the Little Claire challenge that went live yesterday.  I have used a great stamp set called 'Beach Huts' and have made sand dunes from the kraft card and the papers used are from 'Blank Canvas', First Edition paper pad.

I am a little late in uploading it as I have been laid up with my back for most of the week, so am still playing catch up with some things.  My back was 'usable' on Friday, so we went out for the day to Hampshire.  We went to my favourite author, Jane Austen's house. Lots of great things to see and I learned lots of facts about her family, that I didn't already know.  It is well worth a visit if you get the chance and the little coffee shop opposite does the most wonderful Mocha's, so I was a happy girl :)
