Moving Along With TheTimes, Challenge # 14, Hazel's Sketch & Theme

Hello, am slightly late with uploading this as I have been at work all day and nursing my poorly puss. Thanks for all of the lovely comments, Molly is feeling alot better, is standing up and purring loudly, so she is definately, on the mend!

This week over at Moving Along With The Times , the lovely Hazel had to job of making the sketch and deciding on the theme. To celebrate 'Stictly Come Dancing' back on the box, her theme is 'Strictly Sparkling'. I have put quite a bit of bling on my slider card, unfortunately my photo hasn't picked it up very well. The lovely Julie has offered a great prize this week, so do pop on over and join in!

My card, 'Fairy Doodles' images, fairy, butterfly and sentiment, coloured in with Copic's, 'Pretty Please' papers, Bazzill Turquoise cardstock, Doodlebug trim and Kaisercraft bling. I have edged all around with a 'Momento' inkpad - 'Rosebud' and lots of 'Fairy Dust'.

Have just watched 'Strictly', lots of men this evening. I am loving Ricky Groves and Natalie Cassidy danced her heart out, good start to a new series, looking forward to seeing the Latin dances tommorrow, good for a laugh if nothing else, lol!

Have a great weekend, will be back with a Pollycraft card on Sunday, hugs Heidi xx

Papertake Weekly Challenge # 24

Evening, I am so pleased that I managed to get this challenge done this evening, I do love the Papertake Weekly Challenge sketches and I really enjoyed making this card, do pop over to get some terrific inspiration for all of the DT cards.

Card recipe: CC Designs 'Heidi amoung the flowers' stamp, Green 'Bazzill Bling', Magnolia 'Pink Muffin Dot' and 'Pink Chef Plaid' papers, Nesties 'Labels 9', Anita's Green Ribbon, Kaisercraft 'bling', Woodware 'Frond' and small 'Daisy' punch and a metal charm sentiment from my stash box. I have coloured my namesake in with Copic Ciao's.

On a sad note, my beloved cat Molly was, we believe, run over on Tuesday, after being missing for 24 hours. We found her injured in someone's garden and after a long night at the vet's, she has a fractured pelvis and lots of bruising. We have to keep her locked in a large cage for six weeks, so that her pelvis heals. She is very sore today, but a little better, and is eating well. I am sure she will be getting very fat, as Georgia keeps feeding her treats to 'make her feel better' lol! My neighbours have been real stars and were even out in force to help us, I know a couple of them look at my blog, so a massive thanks to them for their help.

Had better go check on the patient, thanks for stopping by, hope you are all having a great week, at least the weather has been pretty good today. Heidi xxx

Wilow Sketchie & Moving Along With The Times Challenges

Good evening all, better late than never I suppose! Here are my two DT cards for today, I really must apologise for not popping over to all of your blogs this week, all sorts of things have been happening with me and the family, I will do my best to make up for it over the weekend, I really can't wait to see what you have all been making!

Anyway, here are my offerings. Two totally different cards, one using Pyramage, which I loved doing, I am not a big fan of decoupage, but loved how easily this came together, anyway here they are, hope you likey!

Willow Sketchie Challenge - Lynsey's Sketch.

For this week's Willow Sketchie Challenge . A great sketch from the lovely Lynsey using the super-cute new download 'Precious' available now. Sharon asked me to do a Christmas card, as you can see, she is coloured in using Copics, I have used My Mind's Eye, The Merry Days of Christmas papers and red Bazzill card. The nestie is Labels 9 and the ribbon is from Anita's. The sentiment is a Hero Arts stamp. The sparkly blue stars are from my dear friend Steffi-woo, thanks Steff!

Moving Along With The Times - Sketch # 11 by Clare C.

The lovely Clare's sketch was an easy one to follow over at Moving Along With The Times . I loved the circles and decided to use one of my new purchases, the little fairy is from 'Fairy Doodles', isn't she just the cutest! I have used some Cosmo Cricket papers, pink and turquoise Bazzill cardstock. The flower is made using two different sizes of daisy punch from Papershapers. Bazzill tulle and a jelli dot finish it off. The sentiment is also Fairy Doodles.

Well, am off to do some well overdue blog hopping, have a great evening! hugs Heidi xxx
