Hobby Art Monthly Special Cards

Oh my, its been a while since I blogged.  Life taking over my time as usual. Both Jess and Georgia are home and its so lovely spending quality time with them.
Anyway, thought I would share a couple of cards I made recently using two of the gorgeous monthly specials from Hobby Art.
Firstly, 'Highland Cattle'.  This was the February Monthly Special set. When they popped through the door from postie, the first image I spotted was the huge thistle.  It is just beautiful!  I have coloured in my card using the 'Wink of Stella' pens.
Here is the full card.

I have created a background using the small thistle and grass stamps and edged with Stickles glitter glue.
Secondly, here is my card used on the project sheet for the April Monthly Special using the lovely 'Riverside' set of stamps.  A gorgeous canal barge and countryside scene set which is great to use to make a scene, as I have done below.
Again, coloured in 'Wink of Stella' glorious glitter pens.  Both sets and lots more other goodies can be found HERE on the Hobby Art website.
Ok off to grab a coffee and then have a few cards to get made.
Have a wonderful day,

Hobby Art Blog Project using Country Ramble Stamps

Happy Friday morning to you! Thanks for stopping by my blog today.
I am sharing a card that I have made for my blog project over on the Hobby Art blog.
I have made my tunnel card using the gorgeous 'Country Ramble' stamp set and lots of 'Wink of Stella' pens, I just love them!
Firstly, a sneeky peak!
I just love this rambling rose stamp that I used around the window of the tunnel card.
I have also used a great new 'Wonky Die' from Dienamics which is available on the Hobby Art website, along with all of their beautiful stamps and Wink pens.

The sentiment used is from the 'Inspiration' sentiments set.  All of which can be found HERE.
I do hope you will stop by to see my full blog project over on the Hobby Art blog, please click on the link above to see more.

Garden Birds Card

Happy Monday to you!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today.  I am sharing a little card I have made using the beautiful 'Hobby Art' - 'Garden Birds' stamp set that I have been playing with this weekend.
If you know me well, I just love birds and flowers, so when I got these in the post to play with, I was dancing around the room!  The amazingly talented Sharon Bennett has designed these stamps for Hobby Art and as usual, I just couldn't wait to stamp them up and colour them in.  In fact, I couldn't put these down and have done other cards, which I will share on my blog this week.
and the inside

Yes, I did got a bit mad with the flowers and cutting them out lol, I do love it!  Have coloured in using Wink of Stella pens and Promarkers and the sentiments are from the Hobby Art - 'Inspirations' sentiments set, which go really well with the bird images in this set.  I hope you can see all of the glitter I have added to the centres of the flowers.  I used 'Mercury Glass' Stickles Glitter Glue.
This weekend, I am so excited to be teaching classes at Make It - Farnborough with Rob, The MDF Man and make and takes with the wonderful Jenny Mayes of Hobby Art at Stamparama - Stevenage, here are the details.
Also, if you are visiting 'Make It' @ Farnborough on Friday or Saturday this weekend, I will be teaching the MDF classes at the show.  There are three different classes to book on, for more information and class project photos, pop on over here via the link :
If you are coming along to this Sunday, do join Jenny Mayes and I on the stand.  The lovely Jenny will be demoing and I will be hosting the make and takes.  We will be using the 'Garden Birds' stamp set on the cards.
Hope to see you at the weekend, yes it is going to be fun but manic.  I will be the lady topping up often on coffee lol.

An Altered Heart

Good morning, it has been a while since I blogged.
Am sharing my blog project for LC Designs today, I have altered an MDF heart with some gorgeous paper and a sweet little 'Hedgehog' image.  You can find them HERE on the website.
Here is another view of my heart, which I have covered with lots of embellishments found in one of my various boxes.
I have coloured in the image with Promarkers, added a frilly flower and lots of white lace.
The gorgeous red paper is from the 'Splodge' range of paper packs and the sentiment is one from the Dinky stamps.
Have a wonderful Friday and Valentine's day on Sunday.
