Charisma Cardz Challenge # 21 - 'Going Dotty'

Back again, wasn't sure if I was going to manage to get this card put on my blog this evening, but here it is. It was meant for another challenge, and follows that sketch but I was too late to enter it and as I had used some great dotty paper, it all fitted together quite nicely! 'Going Dotty' is the theme over at Charisma Cardz Challenge Blog , there are some wonderful stamps up for grabs, so go to it! I have used turquoise and yellow Bazzill cardstock, Clare Curd Signature Range turquoise dotty paper, Bazzill Tulle, Kaisercraft bling stones, brads, seahorse and sentiment from stash. The wonderful 'Mermaid Anya' was stamped for me by a friend, I am so loving these little images, hope to get my hands on some more of them soon, every time I try to buy some, they are out of stock, so keep your fingers crossed that I get lucky and can get them soon, night night Heidi xxx

'Wild Thing' Cards

Hello, have you all been enjoying that sunshine? I have been working today and yesterday, so haven't been able to get in the garden and enjoy, but the weather is set to stay around for a while, so will be making the most of the days to come, lol!

Here are a couple of sample cards, that I have made for the shop, using the new 'Imaginisce - Wild Things Collection'. The stamps are so cute and great to use! The range consists of Panda, Tiger, Giraffe, Hippo, Lion and 'Don't feed the Animals' stamps. The papers are fab, lots of animal prints and bright bold colours, and the ribbons match perfectly! You can buy them at Crafts U Love , do hurry though as they are selling fast!

Am off to complete a challenge this evening so will be back with a card tommorrow, take care and have a great week, hugs Heidi xx

I haven't been able to play much this week due to work and home commitments so have been having craft withdrawal big-time! Right am off to finally watch 'Mamma Mia', I got the dvd for Christmas and I seem to be the only person in the UK not to have seen it. My friends and family keep saying that I remind them of the 'Julie Walter's' character, not sure whether that's an insult or compliment, anyway am off to find out, lol! Hope you will pop back tommorrow for Sunday's card. Thanks for stopping by this evening, hugs Heidi xxx

PS. Have just finished the film, wow what a great movie! OMG though, I think I am more like Donna (Meryl Streep's character), as I used to be a right rebel twenty years ago, didn't have half as much fun as she did though, lol! If you haven't seen the film, go watch it, cheered me up no end! Night, night!! xx

National Scrapbooking Day @ CUL

Hello, quite a long post today, I wanted to share some craft bits that I made yesterday. We had a great day celebrating 'National Scrapbooking Day' at Crafts U Love . I was lucky enough to demo some of the new QK dies, Nesties and Shimmerz and combine them with some scrapbooking. Above is a page and below a mini-book which I completed for the demo. I have started another page, but need to tweek it a bit, so will upload it later.

I decided it was time to document just some of my large collection of Russian dolls. I have been collecting them for over twenty years now and my dear hubby feeds my addiction when he travels abroad. On my page, I have used the QK Labels die (CC Shape-3-026, Imaginience 'Twitterpated' paper and Burnt Orange Bazzill card. I inked some chipboard letters with 'Momento - Cocoa', have stamped some brackets, added flowers, pearls and buttons from stash.

Above is a QK Label book on Nature. I have used the same Labels die as before and covering some scrap card with some more of the Imaginisce papers from the 'Twitterpated' range. I have used some QK bird, tree, butterfly and toadstool die to fill the book along with chipboard letters to spell out NATURE and have added loads of buttons. Some ribbons attached to the rings are from my evergrowiing ribbon box.

All products used can be purchased at CUL, if you make a purchase on-line over the bank holiday, your postage will be free, so hurry over and bag yourself a bargain or two! Am off to finish my other page, hope your enjoying your Bank Holiday weekend and managing to get some crafting done. Thanks for stoppng by my blog, Heidi xx
