Mojo Monday Sketch Blog Challenge # 93

Good evening, wow what a sourcher it has been here today! I have worked all weekend, so here is my first challenge in a few days, although it was too hot to craft, I struggled through anyway, lol! I love these challenges over at Mojo Monday Challenge Blog , they are such versatile sketches!

I used a cute little Anya image, My Mnd's Eye papers called 'Pretty Please'. Bazzill black Tulle, black & pink Swiss Dot card and black jelli dots. My sentiment was made with QK 'Lemonade' Cookie Cutter Alphabet, which you can buy for the ridiculously low price of £22.49 from Crafts U Love , hurry they are selling fast! I have coloured her in using my Copics and have added Micro Dots to the flower centres.

Have a great evening, thanks for dropping by my blog, hugs Heidi xxx

Michael Jackson R.I.P.

I couldn't believe the news when I first heard it here on the web. I then turned on BBC world news and they confirmed it. I have always loved his music and have all of his cd's. This picture is how I am going to remember him, I can remember when I first heard 'Thriller', the whole of the night club where I was at the time, went berserk. I have never got bored of hearing it and my daughters play my cd's all of the time. Whether you loved him or hated him, he was a musical genius and personally, his music defined my growing-up years. xx

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge # 11 - 'Fabulous Father's'

Good afternoon peeps! I bet your out there enjoying the sunshine? Its been super-hot here today, much to hot to do anything but craft, lol! Sorry I haven't managed to upload my D & D DT card this week, for some reason, it won't let me upload onto my blog. It has been put on the challenge blog, so if you did want to see it, its on there.

My challenge today is for Stamptacular Sunday Challenge . It's theme is 'Fabulous Father's', my dad, unfortunately no longer with me, loved fishing, so I know that he would have loved my card. Also, I don't make enough male themed cards, so this was a real challenge for me. I have been wanting to make a slider card for ages, it was so fun to do. I have given you a side view to show how I made this.

My image is 'Fishing Ian', not sure if that's his proper name, but hey ho! I have used Nestie's # 3, Cosmo Cricket paper and brown Bazzill card. The stamped sentiment is Magnolia and the 'DAD' was cut out using QK Dragonfly. I have glossy accented the little fish and have cut the larger one out using a QK die in mirri-card.

If any of you dear blogging buddies know where I can get hold of a 'Surfer Ian' stamp, I would be very grateful. I have two cards to do for twin nephews who live in Devon, they are big surfer dudes, so his image would be perfect for the project I have in mind, thanks alot. The big ironing pile awaits, have a great evening, love Heidi xxx

Colour Create Challenge - Week 19 - Blush Pink, Lilac and Mossy Green

Afternoon, hope you haven't got wet today? I just did again for the third time. We have got torential rain here in Sussex at the moment and my sheets have had yet another rinse on the line!

Anyway, here is my second card out of three for the day. I have been trying to upload my D & D DT card, having trouble with that one, so anyway here is my entry for Colour Create Challenge . Great colour scheme this week, had to search the paper boxes to find a paper that matched all three colours. The added element is that you have to use diecuts somewhere on your card. I have used a new stamp, a little 'Ketto' stamp from 'Stamping Bella'. I have treated myself to three of them, this one is 'Anise', isn't she sweet? My paper is SEI, I have used green, lilac and pink Bazzill Cardstock, my Dahlia Nestie and a QK Flower die with jelli dots and bling from stash. The sentiment is from a new set by 'Stampasauraus'. Will try to upload my other card soon, have to go and feed the zoo, take care Heidi xx

Orange Bazzill cardstock and the fabulous new Bo Bunny papers 'Mango Luau' which I absolutely luv. I have cut out one of the flowers and have decoupaged it with some orange blingy stones. Good evening, firstly I must apologise, I have gone 'Anya' mad, so if you are bored of these images yet, please forgive me, lol! I thought this one from the Miss Anya range would go really well with these papers from My Mind's Eye. I just love Dawny's sketches over at Papertake Weekly Challenge , they are so versatile! Have spent the day with my daughter Amy today. She is on study leave for her 'A' Levels and its not often that we get chance to catch up, so it's been really nice.
