WOYWW?????

Morning all you WOYWW's! Do join in the fun by visiting Julia @ Stamping - Ground . It's a really claggy day here today and I had to use the flash on my photos, first time this year lol! Here is my desk, full of activity for once. I am making a canvas for my daughter's Jess, its only two weeks late! She is very girly, so I have been searching my draws for dies/stamps/punches anything really to use on it. I have started by stenciling a Revolution flourish and thats as far as it has got, lol!

Right, on my desk today - Promarker box, tote, QK Rev dies, MS punches x 2, Glossy Accents, new LOTV stamps x 4 that I brought at AP, new Card Candy and the usual suspects, glue, scissors etc., etc.

It was lovely to meet fellow WOYWW's - Jo, Joey & Scobby Sue! It was so busy and the day just went so quickly!

The above is the most recent photo of my girlies and I just love it! I didnt realise just how much they all look alike but yet so different.

General Mum duties await, lunches and school run. Have DT cards to finish today and am going to get on with the canvas, hope to show you the finished item very soon.

Enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by. I managed to get around to most of you last week, and hope to do the same today.

Little Birdy Canvas

Good morning, it's lovely and autumnal here in Sussex today. Hope the weather is fine where you are. Sorry I have been absent for a few days, I have been busy demoing over the weekend, at Alexandra Palace in London at The Stamping & Scrapbooking Show. WOW, it was very busy but such great fun! It was wonderful to meet lots of my blogging buddies and I haven't laughed so much in ages! Thanks to all that popped by the stand and grabbed some bargains.

I am still having some computer problems, so this is a test run, lol! I wanted to share this canvas that I made recently, I have only just found the photo whilst playing with my poorly pc. The lady who did the main design is the lovely talented Cary, I have done my own take on her design, ie. moved flowers etc. All the elements are from Stamping Up. I really loved the colours and of course, the little birdy punch had to come and live at my house, lol! I am really loving using canvasses and have recently started a larger one for Jess' bedroom wall, it is an A4 size and of course, it is a work in progress, but am enjoying altering them and taking my time to do so.

On a very sad note, we had to say goodbye to our little man Carrie yesterday. We have had him since a baby, as you may know, he had been poorly for a few weeks. Thanks to all of you who sent get well messages to us. Peeps that know us well, know that our animals are part of the family so today is a very sad day for us.

MAWTT Weekly Challenge #

Good evening, it's challenge time again over at Moving Along with The Times . The wonderful Brenda is hosting this week and has come up with a wonderful list of things to add to your creations, so that you can enter the challenge. There is also a fabby sketch to follow and each of the design team have been given images to use by our sponsor. Unfortunately, I have had printer issues and have had to use a different image.

Our sponsor is offering four digital images as the prize.

To my card, its a really quick and easy sketch to follow and I have used a new decoupage set that I was given for my birthday. I just loved the colours and wish I had an armchair like it, lol!

As mentioned before, Brenda has set us a task to use three of the eight items on her 'To Do List', I have used two different papers, one button and some vintage linen thread. Bazzill cardstock, Kanban Image & Sentiment, Linen card and Brown Card Candy.

Right, Georgia is in bed so its time for 'Law & Order' on the box, I just love Bradley Walsh! The weekend starts tommorrow, gonna be a busy one for me, lol! Enjoy yours whatever you do!

The draw above is my Hero Arts and it is slightly messy again! It doesn't take long for things to get messed up with me, I seem to work better that way!

Bresakfast needs making and so do the lunches. Will be popping over to your blog later once the school run has been done.

Enjoy your day,

More Little Claire Samples

Hello, hope you are all enjoying your Sunday? I am having problems with my camera loading at the moment, but have managed to load Design Team cards that I made a while ago for Little Claire's .

Above, I have used a Christmas Tree stamp and have paper pieced it onto some Bo Bunny papers, have cut out and coloured this little Polar Bear image with Promarkers. Placed on to Turquoise & Brown Bazzill, have added a couple of MS punched out snowflakes and card candy. The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards.

This tag card was made using the new tag die and 'Swirl' die cut sets. I have mixed black & mustard Bazzill cardstock and a Hero Arts sentiment with a bit of bling and ribbon from stash.

This is an envelope style card. You need a whole sheet of paper to make it. I have used the same 'Polar Bear' image, once againi coloured in with Promarker pens. MS Flourish punch around the edges of a squre of navy & cream Bazzill, two more snowflakes and have used a QK Merry Christmas die.

Love, love, love these little owls, which are new over at Little Claire's. You can pick them up for only £2.99! This card was made using a large oval on the fold of Turquoise Bazzill cardstock and then a circle of My Mind's Eye papers. A piece of large brown ribbon, some brown card candy and the sentiment is from Sandylion.

Had better go get on with the ironing and have to cook tea. Have a lovely afternoon, hugs Heidi xx

Good morning, Wednesday again and that can only mean one thing, WOYWW! Julia @ Stamping Ground has started this craze and to join in, just pop on over and leave a link to your blog to show us your workplaces, current creations or trends, or just where you craft!

This week so far has been varied, I have been feeling a bit poorly, got a bug of some sorts, which doesnt seem to want to go away. One of our cars has been playing up, so its down the garage for it today. I have been birthday shopping for my Jess who will turn 14 next week, it's been so hard thinking of things to buy her. We are getting her a computer, so main pressie sorted, as she will be starting her GCSE's shortly, but I wanted to get her a few little bits too!

Anyway to my desk, my Promarker box including my recently purchased new pens, lol! Two Jacqueline Wilson books that Georgia wants me to read, her autobiographies. Revolution Alphabet, MS Doily Lace Punch, X-Cut Perforator set (which I have been looking for for ages), baby wipes, my small tote - full of the usual suspects. Front of desk - Papermania new Classic Christmas set & paper pack (they are so yummy), glasses, Momento & Brilliance inkpads, cut & dry foam, babywipes, strong tape & my Little Claire's ever growing box of stamps & dies, phew!

I have also shared a photo of 'Posie' & 'Bugsy' my two bears. David brought me the large pink 'Russ' bear a few years ago as I had never really owned my own teddy. Also, Georgia recently gave me 'Bugsy', which she came across in the loft and gave her to me as I love ladybugs, ah bless, lol!

Right, have to get Georgia to school on time, then have a busy day ahead, garage, hairdressers then shopping, hope I feel up to it, lol!

Thanks for stopping by,

hugs

Sweet Little Snowmen!

Good afternoon, firstly welcome to all of the lovely new followers I have, I really appreciate you popping over here to see my blog. I will of course, return the compliment!

I have had a lovely day crafting and sorting out my stamp boxes. I love Sundays in our house, the girlies go off and do their own thing, David gets on with DIY and gardening and I get left to myself to play, how lucky am I, lol? I am also having dinner cooked for me this evening, first time in about a month!

Saying that, I have only managed to make two and a half cards today. One completed DT, one half finshed DT and this 'Little Snowman' one. I really love the colour scheme, I wasn't too sure about it when I first saw the challenge blog, but now I have made this, I love them together!

I have entered my card into the following challenges :

Penny Black Saturday Challenge - 'Purple, Cream & Brown'.
Paper Sundae Challenge - 'Mixed Medium's'

My Card : Penny Black 'Snow Family' Image, Brown, Purple & Cream Bazzill Cardstock, Hero Arts Sentiment, MS Snowflake Punch, Corner Punch, Brown & Cream Card Candy, Cosmic Shimmer. I have coloured my image with Promarkers & Copics and have used Cream Bazzill Bling and Brown & Purple Bazzill cardstock, so have mixed two lots of mediums. My card is quite 'clean & simple', no papers just for a change. I have decoupaged the snowflakes and the image is on sticky foam pads to give it the 3d look.

Have a large ironing mountain to climb later this evening, lol! Enjoy your evening and thanks for dropping by my blog.

luv

Also I brought lots of card stock, Bo Bunny dots papers and some Basic Grey Christmas papers. I also treated myself to a small guillotine, something I have been needing for a while now and I picked up a bargain at Hobbycraft for £5.99! I had to ask the lady at the till to check the price as I have seen them going for up to £12, bargain! There are some new trimmer blades which I go through so quickly, my box of evergrowing pearls, stones and general bling, which I am sharing a photo of its contents with you further down. A Russian Doll pencil case that Amy brought for me yesterday, and lastly a canvas that I altered recently at a SU class. I cant take the credit of the design, a lovely lady called Cary deserves it, but I just love the colours and the simpleness of it!

Here is where I keep my 'Bling' and pearls. I got this box full of Body Shop goodies for Christmas and as it is so beautiful I made use of it. The contents of which are below.

Lastly, had to show you this picture of Molly last night, she wouldnt let Jess have her dressing gown back, she is posing well!

Its the last day of the holidays for us today, so am taking the girls out shopping. Enjoy your day and am looking forward to popping over to see Whats On Your Workdesks, lol!
