Travelling Daisy

'Daisy, Daisy give me your answer do', I have been singing this all weekend, whilst making my samples, thank goodness you can't hear my singing lol!

This little image is called 'Travelling Daisy', another 'Loverly Jubblie' stamp from Little Claire .  Isn't she just gorgeous? All of the new images have been such a pleasure to colour in, especially as their sizes are a little larger, great for blind people like myself, who needs to get her bot down to Specsavers to get some new lenses in my glasses.

I have coloured her with Promarkers, surrounded her with SU lace, Navy & Red Bazzill and Red check paper from Craft Creations.  The flowers are a punch from Papershapers and the little buttons are from Docrafts. The sentiment is another brand new one from a set called 'Dictionary Definitions', just fabby for family cards.

The sun is shining here today, first time in ages, so am going to make the most of it and go sit in the garden, then more cards to make.

Whatever you do today, hope it is a good one!

hugs

Loverly Jubblie's - 'Maybe' Card

Good afternoon! Hope your weekend is going well? We have had so much rain, my garden is flooded! First time I have seen it so covered in water! Saying that, it has been such a great weekend to craft and catch up with lots of dt work.  Talking of which, above is a little card I have made using the fantastically, gorgeous 'Loverly Jubblies' - 'Maybe' stamp.  You can purchase the whole set of them over on the website Here .

Isn't he uber-sweet? I have used some Docrafts paper, linen thread, wooden button and a QK fish die.  The sentiment is from a brand new set, which are all family themed, they are called 'Dictionary Definitions', more of my samples to follow will have them on.  I have also stamped onto the paper using the new 'Bunting' stamp set and then attached to linen thread.
Lots going on this week in our house, both Georgia and I have physio appointments, a school meeting to discuss Jess' GCSE's and I will be whizzing around the travel agents, hoping to find a great last-minute deal abroad.  It has been a few years since we went away, so am really looking forward to seeing what I can find in our budget.

Have a fabulous evening! I will be back tommorrow with another card using a 'Loverly Jubblie'.

Thanks for stopping by

Flowers & Easel Cards

Good afternoon, it's a really wet, blustery day here today, but look what just came to the door.  I was so chuffed to receive these wonderful flowers from special friends of mine, aren't they just gorgeous!

I have been making some cards using some wonderful Easel card packs, they are available on the Little Claire via their website here . They come in Scallop Circle, Plain Circle & Elegant Square shapes and are in packs of 10 for only £2.50 - what a bargain!

My first image used is 'Cutie Patootie' - 'Chimney Sweet Bert'.  I used the Elegant Square Easel.  I have also used 'Georgina's Buttons & Stitches' stamps and a 'Sunshine Sentiment'.  The papers are My Mind's Eye and the linen twine is from Stamping Up.

I have used the 'Swirly Whirly - Tortoise' stamp on the circle easel card. Sentiment as before, Memory Box border die, Paper shaper flower punch & Sizzix leaf die.  Papers are from Cosmo Cricket, they are so lush!

Here is the gorgeous 'Henny Penny' image using the scalloped edge easel card and a 'Sunshine Sentiment'.  Have used some papers from a new paper pack (also available from Little Claire) called 'Tea Party'), together with some twine.  Sentiment & flower punch as before.

Don't forget to pick up your copy of 'Quick Cards' this month, George Clooney look-a-likey 'Steve' has his own column starting this next edition.  Lots of crafty information, a card example and instructions and of course, Mr Stuart's charming wit! You cannot miss it lol!

Better go brave the rain and get to the shops for something for tea. Have a lovely afternoon, keep warm & dry!

Happy 21st Amy & New stamps from Little Claire

HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY AMY!!!!!

My eldest turns 21 today, here is a recent lovely photo of her with our Molly. She has recently moved into a new flat with her friend, so we will be spending the evening with her celebrating.

Firstly please bear with me, my blog is very much a work in progress at the moment, am I the only one who absolutely hates this new way of blogging??? I have been trying to play with my blog all weekend, and have only managed to put the new background on, anyway moan over lol!

Little Claire are releasing some wonderful new stamps today - 'Bunting' and 'Changing Trees'. I have been lucky enough to play with these for a few weeks and also demoing them at the Stamping show in London recently. If you would like to win a set, please pop on over via the link Here . Here are just a few of my samples.

Firstly, I have made a wedding card, using elements from the 'Changing Trees'.  Martha Stewart punches, grey ribbon & silver heart charm.

Second card is using the 'bird/owl' elements from the set and I have stamped one of the 'Bunting' images onto some paper from My Mind's Eye.  I love these little owls!

Lastly, here is a card using the 'Bunting' and 'Cutie Patootee - Mary' stamps, spelling out 'Birthday Wish' .  I have added lace to the top and have carried it through inside.  Little flower is a  fabulous 'Marianne' die, which I use a lot lol!

I have made Amy, a special crafty birthday gift, which I will share on here tommorrow.  She hasn't opened the gift yet, so as I don't want her to see it on here first, it will be shown tommorrow.

Have a wonderful day and hope you will pop on back here tommorrow.

hugs
