Little Claire April Stamp Set

 

Good evening, Happy Easter to you! Hope you have had a wonderful Easter, we have been busy decorating Georgia's bedroom. Lots of cream paint and I have to say it is looking fabby!  We have lots of canvasses and pictures to buy yet and some new curtains, but its so light and airy in there now, Georgia loves it!

 

Am showcasing two cards this evening using the gorgeous new stamp set called ' The Smile I Bring ' which is available from the Little Claire website today.  It is the club set, which comes complete with a fabulous card pack to make up and a few extra examples of cards by the Design Team using the new stamps.

 

 

I really love this little set, lots of seperate elements, little birds, flowers and two great sentiments - right up my street! As my crafty friends will know, I absolutely love little bird and cage images.

 

Am loving these new Sizzix dies I brought myself recently. Great banners in loads of sizes. I will be using these loads on my cards in the near future lol.

Happy Easter!

 

Good evening, its been a few days since I posted, have been so busy this week, have caught up with lots of friends and am now busy decorating Georgia's bedroom.  We are nearly round the room with the first coat of a lovely cream/beige colour, its looks great already, am so pleased with the colour. I have definately got the decorating bug now, am going to work my way around the house, next stop Jess' room :)

 

Anyway, here is a card I  made a little while ago and as it has some gorgeous little ducks on, thought it would make a great Easter card.  It is from Little Claire and is called 'Duckmum', I really love colouring this image in.

 

We are having a very quiet family Easter, finishing the decorating and complete with an easter egg hunt, yes I know the girls are older but I would get shouted at if I didn't still do one each year lol.

Altered Bag for Little Claire Likes ...

 

Good frozen morning to you all! Its bloody freezing here today, a two sock day lol!  Am wishing the sun would come out and warm us all up but the big freeze is supposed to continue right through the week, brrrrrrrrr!

 

Anyway, am sharing another 'Little Claire Likes' ..... with you today.  This week it is the turn of the lovely little stamp 'Yes Miss'.  Its great for all occasions and especially those last-minute 'thank you' teacher cards.

 

I have altered a little bag that I got from Hobbycraft.  Have added some gorgeous pink and beige card, papers from a 'Back to Basics' pack, a great swirl die and lots of little brown pearls - just love them!

 

Am off out for my weekly catch up with my good friend Jayne today, lots of chat, cake and coffee - heaven!

Geranium Stand Card

 

Good evening, here is a little quick card that I made for the blog project this week, over at the Little Claire blog.

 

I have used the gorgeous 'Geranium' stamp which is a great stamp for all occasions.  I have coloured in with pastel Promarkers, have used some kraft card and lovely papers from the 'First Edition' paper pack called 'J'Adore', some dotty ribbon and brown pearls from Meiflower.  I used a cute little cloud die and a great LC sentiment to finish my card.

 

Having a movie night this evening, 'Ice Age 4' and maybe the 'Hangover 2' later when Georgia goes to bed lol.

Well Done Little Claire!!!

 

 

Good morning, just wanted to say 'Well Done' to Little Claire whose little stamp 'Tulip Cat' has been awarded 'Pick of the Month' in Cardmaking & Papercraft Magazine.  Also, on page 79 of the magazine, their 'Swirly Whirly - Owl Family' stamp was voted runner up for the Best Stamp of the Year!

'You're So Tweet' Tunnel Card

Good morning, Monday again, girls have gone to school and I have a full day ahead.  Am meeting a friend for coffee, cake and a chat and have a couple of appointments to get through, so it's going to get hectic!

 

Here is a tunnel card that I have made for the 'Little Claire Likes' ..... that we share every Monday morning with you.  Today I have gone all lilac and have used the gorgeous set called 'You're So Tweet'. It comes with a cute little sentiment, I just love it!

Lots of dies have been used on my card, mainly from Memory Box.  The paper is from Craft Creations - 'Lilac Dot'.  I have coloured in with Promarkers and have added some gorgeous lilac pearls from Meiflower.  If you would like instructions on how my card was made and a full list of products, pop on over to the Little Claire blog.

Little Claire Monthly Challenge # 31 - 'Cards with Folds'

 

Hi there, Saturday once again and another challenge over at Little Claire's. 

 

This month we want to see your 'Cards with Folds', the DT have all made different shaped cards, they are just fabulous!

 

I have used the sweet 'Little Doggies' image on my 'Spring' card', some gorgeous 'Forever Friends' kraft paper from a new pack I treated myself to.  A frilly edged die, some wooden buttons and butterflies, brown pearls and of course, my trusty Promarkers.  Lastly, some gorgeous cream lace tied in a bow.  The sentiment is from the 'Sunshine Sentiment's set.

 

We are having a very quiet weekend as have had a few busy ones recently.  Lots of family time, dvd's and crafting me thinks!

The Sun is Shining - Yay!

Good morning, wowee the sun is shining here today and the snow is nearly all gone, what was that all about anyway???? I thought it was supposed to be nearly Spring?  We had a snow day, the roads were blocked and everything was on shutdown, now today, its like nothing has happened, what weird weather we are having!

 

The sunshine always puts me in a really good mood, especially when I look out in my garden and see the birds are feeding on the feeders.  Also, my lovely neighbour has just given birth to a little girl, so its so good to get 'good' news for a change. Am popping round there later to grab a cuddle or three, oooo I do love a baby!

 

Anyway, here is a Design Team card I made recently, this image always makes me smile. I love the sentiment especially, such lovely words!

 

 

The stamp is from Little Claire's and is called - 'Best Friend's' and I have teamed it up with some lovely Craft Creations paper, a Memory Box fern and flower die and some Stamping Up ribbon, which I am a bit addicted to.  As always, my faithfull Promarkers came out of the box to play and voila here is the end result!

 

My lovely friend Jane is celebrating a birthday early next week, so must get on and make her card, also have the baby card to finish.

Little Claire Likes ..... 'Beach Huts'

 

Hello, Monday again! I had a wonderful day yesterday, was thoroughly spoilt by my three lovely girls and then had a wonderful afternoon at my brother's, where we had a lovely roast dinner together.

 

Here is another card I have made for 'Little Claire Likes' .... today I have used 'Beach huts'.  Its such a fabulous set with lots of little elements.  You can get it here for the bargain price of £6.50!

 

I decided to use lots of bright fun colours on my card.  We are having another bout of awful snowy weather, so it's great to try to remember warm sunny days and these lovely stamps summed these days up.

LC Blog Project - Double Pocket Card

Good afternoon!

Happy International Woman's Day!

 

It is my turn to do the blog project over at Little Claire's today.  I have made a feminine double-pocket card for a 'Mum' and although I no longer get to celebrate with mine, I will be thinking of her on Sunday and will be spending the day with my three gorgeous girls that I have been truely blessed with.

 

I have used the gorgeous stamp sets - 'Heart's & Flower's' and 'Daisy Dot Alphabet', which go really . well together.  There are several sentiments and lots of great images,You can see the product list & instructions on how to make my card on the main blog here.

 



 

Here is the inside of my card showing off the gorgeous My Mind's Eye paper and the tags.

 

 

Tag # 1 using the gorgeous lavender image.

Tag # 2 - using the cute hedgehog. 

I have stamped the lovely border around both tags and inside the card.

 

 

Here is a lovely little rare photo of CoCo, she doesn't sit still very often and I caught her snoozing on my craft chair along with Tommy my owl lol. 

 

 

Right, off to craft and then see my lovely girls in 'Macbeth' this evening.  Georgia has one of the main parts and has been so busy over the last few months learning her lines, am so proud of her. Jess is helping with props and lines, so she will be busy too lol.

The Great Outdoors

 

Happy Monday morning to you! The sun is shining here, its quite warm outside so will be having my coffee and lunch in the garden with the birds. You cannot beat a bit of sunshine!

 

Here is a card I have made for the 'Little Claire Likes', this week I have used the great stamp set called 'The Great Outdoors'.  It has lots of great elements and is just perfect for all of those 'outdoorsy' people that we need to make cards for.

 

I have made my side-easel card using some 'First Edition' papers, lots of soft Promarker colours and some glossy accents on the compass images.

 

Back to my craft table to make lots of birthday cards.

Little Claire March Club Stamp & Card

Good afternoon, hope your well and warm today?  I have been a really busy bee this weekend, I demoed at 'Make-It' on Friday and yesterday, so am a little late in posting this.  The show was really busy on both days and it was great to catch up with so many familiar faces/crafters.

 

Also, my gorgeous daughter Georgia turned 13! OMG where has the time gone.  We found some lovely dvd's from when the girls were smaller, they are so funny and it's great to look back and she just how much she has changed..  We had a wonderful meal out on Friday evening, she had a great shopping day with her sister's yesterday and friend's came round for pizza last night.  Then we went girly shopping today, am now officially pooped!

 

Anyway, here if the March club card which I designed using the uber-gorgeous 'Your'e so Tweet' which was launched yesterday. Isn't it gorgeous?

 

 

Its a twist card, which is very easy to make.  I have stamped one of the small images out and have decoupaged the image on the front and on one of the panels inside.
