Moving Along With The Times - Weekly Challenge # 13 - Clare's Sketch & Theme

Hello, here is my DT card for the Moving Along With The Times . My dear friend Clare has done us proud with a great sketch and theme of birthday this week. As you can see I have turned the sketch on its side and I have paper-pieced her dress. This sketch came just in time for me to make my daughter Jessie's birthday card as she turns into a teenager tommorrow. This week, there are two fantastic stamps that you could win, all you have to do is join in the challenge before next Wednesday, 23rd September by 8pm when Clare will choose a winner.

My card recipe : Miss Anya image, My Mind's Eye, Bloom & Grow papers (from the lovely Clare), SU Flower Stamp, QK Bead die, Yam Bazzill Cardstock, Woodware & Hero Arts sentiment stamps, Kaisercraft bling and Momento 'Tangelo' inkpad. My nestie is Labels 4, I think?

I must say a BIG THANKYOU to all of you that sent me cards, pressies and birthday wishes. I have a lovely birthday, David took me out for lunch and then we all went out for pizza in the evening. I was thorougly spoilt by all and am looking forward to seeing 'Chicago' at out local theatre next month, my pressie from Amy, thanks honey!

By the way, no Willow Sketchie card this week. Sharon's Nan is poorly, so it will be back at the end of the month. Hope your Nan is on the mend dear Sharon, big hugs to her.

Lastly, as I said before, it's my lovely daughter's 13th birthday tommorrow, here is a picture taken on my birthday of her. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESS, LOVE YOU LOTS AND LOTS. We are taking her to see 'Wicked' in London later this month, she will be so surprised as we told her that we couldn't get tickets. What a 'wicked' Mum I am, hee hee!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend! love and hugs Heidi xxx

Good morning cuz, It sounds like you had a wonderful birthday, and by the way the cake I brought to celebrate your birthday was scrummy, lots of chocolate and cream. What's this I hear Jess is almost a teenager, I still see her as a baby tell her to stop that I'm starting to feel very old....lol
Your card is lovely the colour are just gorgeous and I'm sure it will be treassured.
