Crafty Catz Weekly Challenge # 10 - Angels & Fairies

Good evening, well I think I hold the record for the number of times a person can get wet in a day, lol! I have been out and about so much today in this horrible consistent rain, I have given up using my brolley!

I have entered this card for Crafty Catz Weekly Challenge . I knew exactly which stamp I was going to use for their 'Angels & Fairies' theme. The prize this week are some lovely flowers and pearls. This little 'Stampendous' stamp hasn't been used yet, so thought she needed an airing and is perfect for my tri-shutter card!

My card recipe : Black Bazzill and White Swiss Dot Cardstoc. Magnolia 'So Spooky - Black Dot' papers, Kuretake Snowflake punch, scallope Nestibility, sentiment from Elzybells, black bling stones from Kaisercraft and black & white ribbon from stash. My little angel is coloured in using my Copic Spica pens. I have suspended one of the little angels using some thin acetate.

As always, thanks for all of your lovely comments, have a great evening! big hugs Heidi xxx

The Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge # 60 - Christmas Trees

Afternoon, another challenge card from me. This week's theme over at The Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge is to include a 'Christmas Tree' on your card. I have been an eco crafter today, everything I have used is recycled or found in my stash box. It's about time I used my scraps of card and paper, I have so much, lol! My image is 'Penguin & Tree' by Gillian Roberts. Bo Bunny papers (not sure of name) and Brown Bazzill Cardstock. Sentiment is from Hero Arts, MS Artic Snowflake punch and Kaisercraft green bling stones. Yes, I know I am using these alot on my cards, but they are my favs at the moment, I will get bored of them eventually, I promise! I just love this little Penguin, may have to use him again also, lol!

Am about to burn the pizza, so had better go save it! Enjoy your evening and if your like me, you will be changing the tv remote alot tonight. Strictly/XFactor/I'm A Celeb fix for me along with a nice glass of wine and some popcorn, if the girls leave me any, lol! hugs Heidi xx

Moving Along With The Times Challenge - Clare's Sketch

Good afternoon, its such a lovely day here in Sunny Sussex! Hope the weather is just as nice where you are. I have just got back from taking my daughter Jess to have a brace assessment, it will be fitted just before Christmas, think I am going to be liquidising her Christmas dinner this year, lol! She is such a brave little thing, I got nervous just waiting for her!

Here are my Design Team cards for Moving Along With The Times and Willow Sketchie Challenge . Firstly, MAWTT. The lovely Clare (Threadbare) has done a wonderful sketch this week and the theme is Animals. I have made another easel card using the sketch, they are so easy to do! I found some beautiful 'Ladybug' Snowflake paper that called out to be used, and have gone for brown Bazzill to make the card, which works well as a Chrimbo card, me thinks! The owl and sentiment stamps are from Stampendous. I have decoupaged and paper-pieced them and coloured in using my Copics. My favourte MS Artic Snowflake punch and Kaisercraft bling stones have been used along with a large brown button and some twine from stash. If you want to join in the fun, leave us a link on the blog and your entries have to be in by 8pm next Wednesday.

Willow Sketchie Challenge - Katie's Sketch

Katie's sketch was fab to use, I have made a side kick-stand card so have flipped the sketch aroound to fit it. I have used the wonderfully cute 'Happy Christmas to Yoo Hoo!' download from Willow and have coloured her in using my Copics. Lime and Dusky Pink Bazzill cardstock and Cheer Christmas papers have made the card. Snowflake sticky border, Imaginisce Snowflakes, Bazzill pink brads and Kaisercraft pink pearls finish it off.

Have a large order for Chritmas cards to complete, so had better get on with it! Have a wonderful afternoon, thanks for your comments, big hugs Heidi xxx
