Allsorts Challenge # 38 - Get Distressed with Buttons & A Bow!

Good afternoon, I can't believe that Sunday has come around again! Have had such a busy week, mainly due to my little bubby Georgia being poorly with Viral Tonsilitus. she is on the mend and should be going back to school tommorrow, thanks to everyone who has sent her get-well messages, it was lovely of you all!

Here is my entry for Allsorts Challenge . The theme this week is 'Distressed with Buttons and a bow'. I decided to not use a stamp for my card, I have been neglecting my Cuttlebug bits and this butterfly is just beautiful! There are some lovely stamps and ribbons up for grabs this week, so do pop on over and take a look at the lovely DT cards.

My card is a new take on a tri-shutter card and I have taken three different pictures so that you can see it up close. I have started off with distressing all of the edges and inking them using my Momento brown inkpad. I have used some brown and khaki Bazzill cardstock. Kaisercraft 'Dancing Jewel - Amethyst' paper. QK Scallop die cut shapes in two sizes. Cuttlebug Butterfly, Kaisercraft flowers, bling and pearls. Ribbon from Amercian Crafts. Buttons and ink pad from stash.

Have had a wonderful day crafting with Georgia, got visited by my bruv and now have to go cook Roast Beef with all of the trimmings yum! Enjoy the rest of your day, love and hugs Heidi xxx
