You have until next Wednesday 11th August 2010 @ 8pm, to enter our challenge and us DT girlies, will pop on over to see your Christmas creations.

I had to take Georgia to get her eyes tested today and she needs glasses! I have never seen a ten year old so excited! It took nearly half an hour to try on about twenty different frames, until she choose hers. When I was her age, I got glasses too. My frames weren't as glamourous as her's, they were NHS Specs, torteshell, em they were lovely, not! I was teased badly as not many girls in my class wore them, lol! Thank goodness most of Georgia's friends wear them, so she will fit in well lol! She did want a pair of Red or Dead ones, they would have set me back nearly £100, thank god I talked her round, lol!

Am off to cook tea, need feeding up, as we are having a marathon uniform-buying session tommorrow, am not having too much luck getting trousers to fit, as Georgia's legs are so long! Fingers crossed we will find some or she will be wearing her jeans to school next term! We have lots left to buy, shoes, trainers etc., etc., the list goes on and on.......

Have a lovely evening, whatever you do!

hugs

Heidi

My eldest had to wear specs last year, I was quite impressed with the NHS ones compared to the choice I had as a kid lol....she chose some funky pink square ones which she liked wearing!!
