Whats On Your Workdesk Wednesday???

Hello WOYWW'ers! If you haven't become one yet, pop on over to Julia's Blog and join in the fun. All you have to do is, show us what you have on your workdesks and any projects that may be in progress.

My desk is very different this week. My girls and I have been busy sewing felt things. Jessie has made a butterfly and heart keyrings. Georgia, a flower and a heart. I have started an owl, but I havent managed to complete one yet, as Georgia needs lots of help, lol! We found some old templates and I am doing mine free-hand after being inspired by my little owl keyrings. Anyway, it is keeping them very quiet and they are really enjoying themselves.

I took a trip to The Range this week, I was extremely good. I need to top up on essentials, tape etc., but I wanted to find something special to go on my newly painted craft room wall. As soon as I saw this beautiful butterfly, I know it had to come home with me, hope you like it! It is stunning against the cream wall.

Unfortunatly, our little guinea pig Carrie is poorly again. So he is living on my Workdesk again. He has lost a tooth and we think that is why he had an infection before. The vet is very optimistic that he just has another infection in his gum, so he will be staying in our cat box until his anti-biotics have kicked in. Anyway, here he is, rather camera shy, lol!

Have a wonderful day! The weather looks pretty pants here today. I expect it will be another stay-in and sew day for us. Thanks for dropping by, I will be over to see your workdesks later.

hugs

Heidi

Hi Heidi, hope your little guinea pig gets better soon. When my girls were young we had guinea pigs, rabbits dogs, cats and then my eldest daughter came home with a parrot. I was so happy when she left and bought her own home took most of them with her hasten to say she was a vet nurse, so I have only two cats left and a dog that my younger daughter has comes to stay when she has to work away. Love your little felt hearts, hope your owl turns out ok. Just love your beautiful butterfly. big Hugs Jo.xxx

Pants weather here too. Cheered up enormously by seeing the girls' sewing - how lovely Heidi that they're making things, and so perfectly! I went to The Range yesterday and had to really fight myself not to buy a cream metal wall 'word' - family..it was gorgeous and I've no idea where it would go. Sob! Gorgous shot of poor gerby, hope she gets well quick!
