Congrats to Will & Kate

Congratulations to William & Katherine, what a wonderful wedding! Prince William looked so handsome and Katherine was absolutely gorgeous. I especially loved the chief bridesmaids dress, wow what a stunner she is too! Didn't love some of the awful hats or 'fascinators', you could probably pick up a satellite challenel or two from them, I do hope they kept their receipts, meow! I am a big hat lover so when my lovely girls get ready, I definately know what not to wear lol!

Anyway here is a photo of my gorgeous daughters complete with their Royal Wedding t-shirts! We have had a lovely lunch here and am off now to make some cards before our barbecue later.

Have a wonderful afternoon, hope you enjoyed the wedding too!

hugs

Pear Tree Designs Challenge # 46 'Colourful'

Good afternoon and Happy Easter Monday to all! Long time no blog for me, have been very busy with my girlies and having lots of family over. Also it was my daughter Amy's 20th birthday, so I do have an excuse for not being a good blogger, have been partying far too much lol! So sorry if I haven't been over to see your blogs, I will have an evening of blog hopping tonight to catch up.

Anyway, have some lovely news to share. I have been asked to re-join the Design Team over at Pear Tree Designs and I am so glad to be back amounst the girls, who are all so lovely and talented, do pop on over to see their DT work.

Their challenge this week has the theme of 'Colourful' and as you can see from my card, I have gone a bit mad lol! I will blame the sunshine and sea air, as the family have been down the coast alot enjoying the beach. This week we are being sponsored by Robyns Fetish and have been given some lovely images to play with. I love this little teapot which immediately started me off singing 'I'm a little teaport', yep I know the sun had got to me lol!

I have made this little easel card using a Pointy Nestie shape, SU sentiment, flowers from Prima, MS punch and papers from my 'Up, up and Away' paper pack. Coloured in with Promarkers and bling stones from Hobbyhouse.

This week we would like you all to produce a card/project which is very colourful! You can create what you like, but as long as we can see that it is colourful and not dark! We don't want to see any dark colours, like black, dark blue, browns or purples!

They will be offering our challenge winner a choice of 5 x digital images of their choice or 4 x digital images and 1 x digital paper pack!

Please follow the rules and only submit a max of 2 entries, anyone trying to enter more than twice will be disqualified from the challenge. We will be monitoring, this makes it fairer for everyone entering - thanks!

Right, my craft desk is calling am off to play with some new card shapes, oooo can't wait! Georgia back to school tommorrow and Jess on Wednesday, so am hoping to get lots of work done this week, have a big project on the go and need some ME time to finish it.

Have a lovely evening and thanks for dropping by!
