June Club Stamp from Little Claire

Good afternoon, have just got back from a lovely lunch with my friend, am so full I thought I would sit down for a while and type up this post.

My card is above has been made using the June Club Stamp from Little Claire .  It is available to purchase now unless of course, you have already received it as part of the club.

As you know me by now, I love my mono colours and have used these on my card with a splash of red.  The papers are from Papermania, the rose die is a Marianne Die.  The little sentiments I have used come in the set.

Got some fabulous results from the Cardiologist yesterday, have had a lot of tests recently but my ticker is tick-tocking along nicely.  Just have to have a couple more tests done, then I can relax and enjoy my forthcoming holiday.

Off to take Georgia to Hydrotherepy again, thanks for all of the lovely messages, she seems to be feeling much better and will be up and about doing sports again soon.

Have a lovely afternoon!

Am all crafted out!

Good afternoon! I am definately taking it easy today after teaching at two Little Claire  workshops last weekend.  It was great fun and so lovely to meet many wonderful ladies.

Steve aka George Clooney and my hubs, David kept them topped up with tea and cold drinks whilst Georgina and I kept them busy making four cards each.  Here is one of the cards that the ladies made.

A twisted easel using the gorgeous 'Birdhouse Garland' stamp, colouring the image in with Promarkers, Blossom & Dusky Pink, Vanilla and Pear Green.  Some lovely Craft Creation papers were used, along with a 'Sunshine Sentiment' and Memory Box and Go Kreate dies.

Am hot, hot, hot and to make it worse, am having a new bathroom put in over the next few days and have no loo! Have been holding back on the fluids and am hoping that they will be finished VERY soon lol.

Have a great afternoon,

hugs

Birthday Box Frame

Good morning, hoping my post finds you well and surrounded by sunshine.  We have been promised loads of the stuff this week, looking out of my window, am not so sure lol!

Anyway, here as promised, is Amy's 21st birthday box frame.  I wanted to make her a special keepsake on such an important day.  Photos are pretty crappy, but that will soon change as I am going to treat myself to a camera tent this week, it has been long overdue lol!

There are a few photos as I wanted to get up close with each section, so I hope you have a cuppa handy.
Firstly, I have used a Cuttlebug alphabet on the letters, the size was perfect to fit the square.

The flower and leaves next are from an old SU set that I got from a friend. I really love all of the images in this set, the bird and heart are the other two.

Here is the heart on an embossed square, the embossing folder was a bargain I picked up at Hobbycraft. The butterflys are all from a Sizzex die.

The leaves are from a Woodware frond punch, the numbers are Cuttlebug.

The bling is from Mei-flower and all of the cardstock is from Stamping Up.

The scroll stamp is an old gorgeous Magnolia one.

Lastly, flower and leaves as before.  All ink pads are Stamping Up to match the cardstock.

Amy was over the moon with the frame and I am reallyh pleased how it turned out.  We made another at my class last week, which I will share with you this week.  I will be very busy prepping all of the packs for the Little Claire Crawley & Kent days this weekend, have lots to do and can't wait!

Thanks for any comments left, they do mean alot!

Some Class Projects

Good morning, just thought I would share the class makes from my last class a few weeks ago. Had forgotten to share them with you, wow time sure flies! My ladies make three projects each class, varying in skill and technique. We normally make two cards and then a project, something a little different!

Firstly, we made a pocket card, using lots of lovely yellow dotty paper, a Lili of the Valley Spring image, SU punch, frame & sentiment and Memory Box Flowers.

Then a little bookmark using a gorgeous Coral cardstock, a Kaisercraft script stamp and a set of old SU stamps, featuring a flower, leaf, bird & heart.

Lastly, a lilac side-easel with a Kaisercraft 'Hummingbird' image. Some lush ribbon and a Memory Box flower die as before.

My next class is this evening and we are doing something completely different this month, I cannot say anymore but will be back before the weekend to share a photo or three.  I made one of these projects for my eldest's 21st birthday and a few of her friends love it so much, they have commissioned some, so I will be busy, busy, busy getting those made soon.

We will also be having lots of cake and biscuits this evening, as it was two of the ladies birthdays recently, so happy birthday girlies!!!
Have a wonderful evening!

Blog Project & Challenge - a little late :( !

Good morning, am very late in posting and have joined both my posts together. Have had a manic weekend, so it's really nice to be able to sit down and complete my posting, especially as I am doing so on a fabby brand new laptop that my hubs surprised me with on Saturday. I have had to borrow his, and Georgia's recently as mine died, so yes I have been very spoilt, and it's teal green, my favourite colour too :) We also have booked a wonderful family holiday, something we haven't done for over five years, it is well overdue.  The girls are slightly excited and I am wondering whether I will be able to get into my swimming costume, am thinking probably not lol ;)

Anyway, above is my Design Team card for Little Claire's , this month the theme is 'Male Cards' and I have used a cute little image called 'Lambretta'. It takes me back to the 1980's when I used to go out with a MOD and we used to drive around on his Lambretta, it was such a great time! The sentiment is one of the new ones from the 'Dictionary Definitions' set available to purchase now.
There is a fabulous prize of a paper pack and sentiment stamp set, to be won, so get making yours and join in the fun!

It was my turn last week to make the blog project. I choose a little bookmark using a great little stamp set called 'Sunny Days'. it has a wonderful image of a hedgehog in a hankie, mowing a lawn, it does make me chuckle! The flower image is a great all rounder. The bookmark is very easy to make and it is great to use up all of those scrap pieces of carstock, the instructions can be found Here .

Right, off to get some DT work done, better tackle some housework and am then meeting my lovely friend for lunch, enjoy your afternoon and thanks for stopping by my blog.

Keep in Touch

Hi there, hope you are having a lovely bank holiday?  I have had a busy morning already, lots of jobs done, so glad that I have the rest of the day to get crafting!

Here is another 'Loverly Jubbliee' card using another of the new stamps from Little Claire's .  This image is called 'Keep In Touch'.  I have used a really patriotic colour scheme, am really loving all of the bold colours around at the moment.  The sentiment is from the Little Claire club stamp set for May and I have also used the bunting set of stamps also available on the website.

Have some special projects on the go at the moment, am itching to get on with them.

Have a wonderful day!

Communion Cards

Good morning, Happy Sunday to you! Hope the weather is brighter where you are, it's been raining here again for most of the weekend, am so keen to get in the garden and soooo fed up with it being so dismal.  At least I can get on with my outstanding DT work and various cards I have to finish.

Here are just a couple of very quick little cards that I have made for Jess' besties 'Holy Communion's which are being held today.  Jess choose the colours, images and sentiments - everything really!

Both the images and sentiments are 'Lili of the Valley', gorgeous cardstock from Stamping Up.  Papers are 'My Mind's Eye' and flowers are using a Papershaper punch.  Finished off with little white pearls.  I have coloured in the images using the 'Spring' limited edition Promarkers.

Off to play taxi service to Jess, more cards to make and maybe some ironing, if I can think of an excuse not to do it lol!

Have a wonderful Sunday!

Robert & Daisy

Good morning, yippee it's Friday, cannot wait for the weekend! My girls are going to stay with their sister, so David and I will have some long awaited 'us' time.  We have never been fortunate to have family local to us to childmind our girls and I haven't ever used my friends for that purpose, so it will be quite nice that they will be off having a girly evening altogether and David and I can have some quality time. Am also hoping for some crafting and gardening time, weather permitting, let's hope the sun shines.

I am sharing another card using one of the new gorgeous 'Loverly Jubblie' stamps, this image is called 'Robert & Daisy'.  I have vintaged them up slightly inking all around them with a brown inkpad.  The papers were free from a magazine, think they were from the Nitwit collection, they are so lovely!  I have added a little paper flower, button, linen thread and pearls. Again using (as all of this week), a new sentiment from the 'Dictionary Definitions' set available on 14th May from Little Claire

Have a wonderful weekend!

Keep in Touch

Good morning, thursday already and yes, more rain here in Sussex.  I was going to start my daily mile walk that my Physio lady suggested to help strengthen my back, but think it will be done on my Wii fit today instead.  I don't own a pair of wellies, in fact in my cul de sac, waders would be more fitting lol!

Day number four of showcasing the gorgeous 'Loverly Jubblies' from Little Claire's .  Today is the turn of 'Keep in Touch', it is soooooo sweet, especially that little puppy.  It is now available to purchase via the link above, pop on over as soon as you can as they are selling out fast.

I have used some more of the wonderful Portabello Road papers and union jack buttons and also another useable sentiment from the twelve new 'Dictionary Definitions', due out on 14th May.

Once I have worn myself out on the Wii, will be crafting, lots of cards and projects on the go. Keep dry blogland peeps and I will be back tommorrow with another new stamp to show, hope you will stop on by!

Daisy Bunting

Good morning, it's day three of brand new stamps from Little Claire's . Today's image is called 'Daisy Bunting' and here are two cards that I have made with her  - she is so cute!

I have used the following products on the card above, Marianne Circle die, Magnolia Doo Hickey tag, buttons & paper are from Docrafts.  The sentiment is one from the set of twelve called 'Dictionary Definitions'.

On my card above, I have used kraft card, My Mind's Eye papers, Linen thread, wooden flower and some white pearls.

Have had an hour of physio this morning for my ongoing bad back.  My new physio made me walk, bike ride & trampoline all in the space of an hour, am now exhausted and it's only 11am lol! My aim is to be able to walk a couple of miles.  Am building up slowly and depending on back pain, hope to manage this within a month.  Watch this space am aiming to do a half marathon eventually lol!

Think I will do some crafting now, have some cards to finish before lunch.

Have a great afternoon! I will be back tommorrow with another card from the new 'Loverly Jubblie' range of stamps.

Little Claire May Club Stamp

Pinch, punch first day of the month! Good morning, well May is here already, cannot believe where the last five months have gone.  It time for a brand new club stamp launch over at Little Claire's . This fabulous new stamp is a 'Loverly Jubblie' called 'King Robert & Queen Daisy', isn't it just gorgeous?

I have made two little cards both with a Jubilee theme.  I have also used the new 'Bunting' stamp set also available on the website, if in stock as it has been really popular.

I have used some Docrafts & Craft Creations papers. SU lace, red ribbon, a crown charm and some lovely gold sparkly card for the crowns.  The little sentiment comes in the stamp set and it is great for all occasions.  Oooo nearly forgot some blue card candy and another union jack button.

Had a wonderful afternoon with my daughter Amy yesterday, since she moved into her own flat, I havent had chance to catch up with her, so it was so lovely to do just that.

Off to do some more samples, some birthday cards and especially a 'new job' card for my hubs as he starts a brand new job next week.

Thanks so much for all comments left and hello! to my new followers, so glad to have you along.
