Sketch Saturday # 218 sponsored by The Craft Barn

Hi there, it's challenge time again over at Sketch Saturday, another fabulous sketch to play with, here is my interpretation of it.

We are being sponsored by my favourite craft shop, The Craft Barn.  I am very lucky as I live very close so am often popping over to have my crafty fix lol.

They are offering as the prize, a £10 gift voucher.

To my DT card.  I have followed the sketch and have used some gorgeous little scraps of paper from my box.  They are from My Mind's Eye. Along with some SU pink cardstock, Little Claire 'Daisy Bunting' stamp, LOTV sentiment and some pink pearls.

Wasn't the Olympic Opening Ceremony fantastic last night? OMG I loved the history, music and comedy with Mr Bean and one of my fav pin-ups Daniel Craig.  Am suffering a bit today with my head, too much wine flowed lol! The cycling team have been whizzing around Box Hill this morning, a local beauty spot which is quite close to me, so we are routing for Team GB.

Have a great Saturday, take care

Christmas Owls

Good morning, long time no blog! I have been having big problems with blogger over the last week, it only now has let me load this card.  Anyway, hoping all of you in blogland are well and cool after the heatwave we have been having, well in the South anyway.

Here is a card I have made using the gorgeous 'Christmas Owls' stamp from Little Claire's and two fabulous dies, a Cherry Lynn 'Pine Branches' and Die-Namics 'Open Scallop Edge' from their new selection available Here . Go on treat yourself, their prices are so reasonable, I want to get them all!

The papers are from My Mind's Eye, a wooden snowflake and the sentiment is also from a forthcoming set yet to be launched.  Have added a couple of brown pearls from Mei Flower.

Have lots of crafty bits to get done today, lots of ironing and being taxi driver for the girls.  We are so looking forward to the Olympics and the ceremony this evening. Go GB!

hugs

Olympic Torch & Daisy Alphabet Cards

Good afternoon, Georgia and I watched the Olympic Torch come to Crawley today.  The weather was very kind and the atmosphere was electric! It all happened very quickly, but it was great to be there and take part.

I have forgotten to share these cards with you.  They have been made using the fabby new 'Daisy Alphabet' from Little Claire.  It is available to purchase from their website.

My first card is a wedding card using lots of Marianne dies, some Doodlebug paper and SU heart stamps.

My second is a real girly card, the paper is 'My Yellow Bicycle' I think. The daisy punch is a Paper shaper one.  Have kept it very simple by just adding a couple of white card candies.

Have lots more DT work to catch up on and dinner to prepare.

Have a great evening, thanks for dropping by!

Christmas Changing Tree - New Release

Good afternoon, well just when you think you have found your perfect Christmas stamp, Little Claire come up with yet another perfect set. Wow, I really loved playing with these new stamps, it is perfect for making those piles of cards for those special peeps!  The great thing that no two cards would look alike, you just stamp your little images in other places to make the tree.

The 'Christmas Changing Tree' stamp set is available to order from today.  If you already have the original 'Changing Tree' set (wedding, music and owls), you can just buy the new Christmas elements at the great price of £3.99.  If you want the whole set it comes for just £5.50.  Go purchase yours now via  Here .

Or, you can enter the competition on the blog, they have three sets to give away, just leave a comment telling Little Claire what you would like to see growing on your own trees, not money though.  Name will be drawn on Wednesday at noon - good luck!

I have used 'Festive Treats' paperpack, red cardstock, oval & scallop oval punches, red lush ribbon, wooden snowflake and cream pearls.  Coloured in with my lovely Promarkers : Khaki, Ruby, Vanilla, Soft & Marsh greens.

Back tommorrow with another DT sample of this gorgeous set.

Bye for now!

Sketch Saturday Challenge # 216

Good afternoon, it's a monsoon here today, rain, sun, rain, sun.  Just wish it would make up it's mind so that I could get some washing dry :)  Anyway, enough of my moaning, am loving the rain really, it always makes me want to craft more ;)

It's challenge time again over at Sketch Saturday. We have another great sketch to follow as you can see, can they get any better???  I love all of the other DT's card's and how they have interpretated the sketch, do go check them out via the link above.

We are being sponsored by Simon Says and they have offered a fabulous prize to the winner of the challenge.

Here is my DT card using the sketch.

I have used some lovely new uber-cute LOTV teddies, papers are from a paperpack. Flower punch is from Papershapers.  I have coloured in the teds with Promarkers, Blossom, Dusky Pink, Tan, Caramel and Pear Green.  Have outlined with Ice Grey I.  Nearly forgot the little cream pearls that I got from Mei Flower.

Having major blog problems again, our internet and telly are playing up too.  Think it may be the storms we have been experiencing or I need to call Sky.

Anyway, blogger permitting, I will upload my Little Claire Monthly Challenge DT card later, but in the meantime, have lots of dt work to get on with. Had a lovely morning out with David shopping, he is now busy tiling, Georgia and Jess are out with friends, so have the house to myself, so am off to enjoy the peace and quiet, whilst it lasts!

Have a lovely weekend!
