Hobby Art Samples

Good evening,

Am sharing some samples made using the gorgeous new stamp sets from Hobby Art.  Jenny was on Create & Craft today with these new sets.

Firstly,

'Indian Summer' with 'Friends' Sentiments

Firstly, I have stamped up the smaller images all around and have decoupaged the elephant head.  I have added glossy accents to the smaller elephant on the sentiment.

Secondly, using gold embossing powder with pink and orange inkpads

Next, 'Ornate Owls'

On both cards, I have used the great set of 'Textures' backgrounds

All of the stamps can be purchased from the website HERE.

That's my cards for this evening, thanks for stopping by my blog tonight.

Have a lovely one.

Tree 'O' Birds Card

Good morning from a wet and cold West Sussex.

Am sharing a little card I have made with the super cute

'Tree 'O' Birds

dinky stamps from Little Claire.

You can purchase them singularly or together as a set.  Just pop on over to the website HERE to purchase yours.

I have teamed them up with some dotty paper and one of the many 'Dinky' sentiment sets that go so well with the images.

Back to the craft room, lots of samples to get made.

Keep warm and dry bloggers!

Poppy Head Fold Card

Good evening,

Am sharing my project over on the Hobby Art blog this evening.

I have used the wonderful October Monthly Special stamp set 'Poppy Head'.  It is such a beautiful set of stamps, two poppy heads and leaves.  There is a great 'Poppy' writing stamp which makes great back grounds.

I have made a fold card using the set.  I stamped on vellum and have coloured in using 'Wink of Stella' pens in green and red.

Here is the inside of the card.

My full project can be found HERE on the Hobby Art blog.

Thanks for stopping by,

Heidi

Little Claire Monthly Stamp Challenge # 62 - Favourite Stamp

Good afternoon, thanks for stopping by today.

Am getting over a heavy head cold which has had me homebound since Tuesday, but am on the mend today and even ventured out to Costa for a well overdue Coffee and a large slice of Carrot Cake with the family. Shame I couldn't taste it though lol!

Also, my lovely Jess is home from university this weekend, so lots of family time and we will be celebrating my eldest Amy getting a new job, which she starts on Monday.

I am sharing a little DT card I have made for the Little Claire Monthly challenge over on their blog.  We have been asked to choose a favourite stamp from the range, I chose this little beauty.  It is called 'Butterfly Balloon' and goes really well on the dinky cards that they sell on their website.

For once, I have stamped onto kraft card, I really love the effect it gives.

If you are entering our challenge, just pop over HERE to do so.  You could win a £10 voucher to spend online in the shop.

Have a wonderful weekend, am so excited to have all of my girls in one place for a change.

Take care,

Heidi

An Absent Blogger

Good morning, my post today has quite a nautical theme to it!  So I thought I would add this pop-up card that I made in the summer using the glorious Hobby Art stamps.

My gorgeous daughter is all moved in to university and is really enjoying the experience.  The lectures have started and I was lucky enough to spend the day with her yesterday, catching up.  I do miss her and am so proud of her.

I have been up to my eyes in making card samples, getting things together and moving Jess into her University digs and then I was lucky enough to go on a crafty retreat the beautiful St. Ives.

Cornwall is truly great for the soul! Such beautiful views and beaches, I had the best of times, made some lovely friends and wow the projects Sarah and Sue gave us to do, were spectacular!  I will share them on here once I get organised and take some photos.  I got to see St. Michael's Mount, which has always been on my 'see' list, wow what a wonderful place!

The trip was filled with fun, laughter and the odd hiccup! We got locked out of the house on the first day and then on day number two, my bedroom door wouldn't open, so I had to share a room with the lovely Angela and borrow some pj's from the wonderful Sue.  The night turned out to be a girly laugh fest with not a lot of sleep!  Lots of life experiences shared and now fond memories made.

So thank you to the wonderful Sarah and Sue for organising the retreat, the amazing projects and looking after us so well. Pauline for the shopping and chats, Angela for the laughter and the super fun Chris for the ride there and back.  Roll on next year!

Ok, have lots of cards to get made today and still catch up with the holiday washing.

Have a wonderful day, thank you for visiting my blog and for any comments that you may leave me.

Much love,

Heidi
