Passion For Promarkers - Easel does it.
Good morning all.
I hope you are all well.
We have a new challenge for you this morning at the Passion For Promarkers
challenge, our theme this week has bee...
Here is my entry for Kim's challenge over at Simply Fairies . I now have a chest infection, what a lovely month I have had with germs and stuff! I have been stuck in bed for two days but have been well looked after by my lovely hubby, who cut short is overseas trip to come back and look after me. I decided enough was enough today and being the stubbon old cowbag that I am, I have done this quick card for the challenge. I have used a lovely Rachelle Anne Miller stamp, Angelique 'Wings' paper from Prima Marketing, some 'Swiss Dot' card, some turquoise tulle and a sweet sentiment from 'Lili of the Valley'. Hope you have had a good weekend, thanks for stopping by xxxx
My girls are much better so decided to get busy with a card or two. Here is my entry for this week's challenge, over at Cute Card Thursday Challenge . The theme being 'lilac' which I have achieved by paper piecing most of the image (except face, neck and legs). Have used some lovely lilac paper from stash and Bazzill 'Swiss Dots' cardstock in lilac, purple and brown and some scrap pieces of Doodlebug white sugared card for the muff and hat bobble. Have used a QK dots border and some 'Hero Art's' felt snowflakes and Doodlebug jewels. Finished off with a small sentiment from 'Lili of the Valley', thanks for looking xxx
Firstly, big thanks to Debbie for the award, very kind of you to think of me. Have still to add this and the other two to my blog. Haven't been able to blog for a while, sorry ladies! Have been nursing two of my daughters. My eldest Amy, has a chest infection and is very poorly and is stuck in bed and secondly my youngest, Georgia was off of school with a sickness bug yesterday. I sent her back today, and was called to pick her up earlier as she had been sick at school. What a month, first of all Jess with the cough thing, then me and now the other two. Luckily, David is bug-free but is now away on a mega trip abroad leaving me with sick kids and a dodgy washing machine. Deep joy! Nevermind, Christmas is coming and I am getting into the spirit of things by wrapping pressies and making my cards. Must do some challenges as am getting itchy fingers, hope all of you are well, speak soon xxxx
Here is our latest make at Scrapclub at Crafts U Love . We made this brag book out of Bazzill 'Swiss Dot' Cardstock and the new Basic Grey 'Wassail' papers along with some scrummy sheer ribbon, QK Holly and Cookie Cutter Christmas sentiment dies. We had such a great evening, with a super group of ladies and a great laugh. Next month we are making a Christmas Paper Bag Album, I will post the results after the class. Hope you like my creation, thanks for stopping by on my blog, have a great warm weekend xxxx
I wanted to share my cards from the class I taught at CUL today. We had loads of fun making these kick-stand cards. We flocked and coloured in with watercolour pencils, these cute Penny Black stamps. All products can be brought from Crafts U Love . Thank you for all of your lovely get-well messages, am feeling a little better but the cough is here to stay, me thinks! xx
I can't seem to shift this rotton flu-like virus, the doctor won't give out any medication, so am overdosing on Lempsips and Covornia Cough Syrup (have you tried this stuff, disgusting or what, works though!), so haven't felt up to any challenges over the last few days. Have popped over to all of my fav blogs to look-see at all of your lovely creations and feel inspired to try and do a challenge later today, after my scrapbooking class at CUL. Whilst blog-hopping, the lovely Debbie at Passion for Crafts has some wonderful blogcandy, she makes the most amazing cards so do pop over and take a look. Thanks for stopping by and hope I haven't passed this virus on via cyber-space xxx
Another great sketch from my mate Kim over at Simply Fairies . First challenge in a few days, have been working and STILL have the dreaded cough/cold virus that my lovely daughter brought home from school. I have used a great Penny Black stamp and have paper pieced the snowflake with some of the Bazzill Swiss Dot. Some Sandylion snowflake paper, burgundy Bazzill embossed with the Cuttlebug 'Snow Dot' folder. A Sizzix snowflake with Doodlebug 'Sugar' cardstock, sparkly brad, jelli tots and some turquiose ric-rac. Have a good week, xxx
Have gone Elyzbells again, am just loving using these cute little stamps, I can't get enough of them! Am looking forward to my next delivery which should arrive tommorrow. Have fitted this little card in to my extra busy day, been working hard at the shop and getting my forthcoming class designs done. Right, to the card, have used some turq and red Bazzill Bling cardstock, have coloured in with my Whispers and glitter glue. Some angel paper free from a magazine, red sheer ribbon, a star clip and some jelli tots. Am off to have a lempsip and an early night. Thanks for looking xxxx
I noticed today just how lovely the trees outside my house looked, all oranges and browns and this inspired me to make this card. I have used a step card shape and have made use of mainly scraps from my stash, with my QK Revolution leaves, Sunflower Tilda and her owl. Finished off with some stickles 'Icicle' glitter glue. Hope you like it, thanks for stopping by xxx
