MAWTT Challenge # 25, Sue's Sketch & Theme

Hello, hello, long time no blogging for me! I have had such a busy week, I haven't had a lot of time for crafting. I have nearly finished the old Christmas shopping and the wrapping will be done this evening, while I am watching Strictly/XFactor, so am nearly sorted. Anyway, to my DT Entry.

It was the turn of the lovely Susie Sunshine to do a sketch and she has chosen an open theme, so that will give you lots of scope to play and join in our challenge over at Moving Along With The Times . This week's prize has been donated by the lovely Julie of JB-Crafting Supplies . I chose to do a doorhanger for Georgia's room. I have been promising to make her a Christmassy one, and I recently treated myself to these lovely new CC Design Angel stamps, so I just had the paper to choose. I have paper pieced the angel with some Bo Bunny 'Tis the Season, Deck the Halls' and the red/snowflake paper is 'Imaginisce - Polar Expressions, Twinkle Toes' for the background. QK Scallop border die, MS Artic Snowflake punch and Hero Arts Sentiment and bling stones with 'Anita's' red ribbon to finish off. My 'ME' time is well overdue this week, so will be making up for lost time tommorrow, lol! If I had to choose, I would prob go for Olly to win X-Factor, but they are all good and deserve a break, so may the best person win! big hugs Heidi xxx

MAWTT & Willow Sketchie Challenges

Good evening, a double whammy for you this evening! My DT cards for Moving Along With The Times and Willow Sketchie . A little late as I have just had to take Molly my cat, to the vet, as she is a bit poorly. I won't go into details because you may be having your tea, but it's to do with her lower regions. She is ok, but limping due to her pelvis still being very swollen and have found out that she has a chipped tooth as well. Anyway, back to my cards .........

My dear friend Clare (Taffy), (get well soon hun!) had the pleasure of thinking up a theme this week. No sketch but you can enter the challenge using 'Anything but a card'. I have made a nestie book using magnetic sheets under the paper. I have covered my book using 'Bloom & Grow' papers, green & orange Bazzill cardstock. The little witchy-mouse is from Penny Black and the flowers are Prima ones, with the bling from Kaisercraft. The ribbons and green buttons are from stash.

My Willow Sketchie card has been made by using the lovely Zoe's sketch. We have now changed the challenges slightly, you no longer have to use Willow images to join in the fun. Although, I wouldn't enjoy it as much using another image on my DT cards. I had to use these new papers from Kaisercraft, wow they are so gorgeous! They are from the 'Wish Upon' range and are great for Xmas and general cards. I have used green & pink Bazzill, I have embossed a strip using a CB Embossing Folder, 'Snowdots', QK Star nesties and their shadows, Kaisercraft pearls, ribbon, heart charm and pin from stash, I have coloured my Willow image in using Copics.

Right, Georgia needs a bath and I need to do some ironing, thanks for popping by, hugs Heidi xx

Only to say, thanks to everyone who leaves comments on here, they are truely appreciated.

Not sure what is going on, just glad to be able to upload this card for the Moving Along With The Times Challenge . It was the lovely Threadbare (Clare C)'s turn this week. The theme is 'no stamping', this was really hard for me, I haven't used die-cuts for ages now, so thanks Clare for making this super challenging! The prize this week is another guest spot on our team, we have so much fun coming up with challenges, so please do join us and give it a go. Moving Along With TheTimes, Challenge # 14, Hazel's Sketch & Theme

Hello, am slightly late with uploading this as I have been at work all day and nursing my poorly puss. Thanks for all of the lovely comments, Molly is feeling alot better, is standing up and purring loudly, so she is definately, on the mend!

This week over at Moving Along With The Times , the lovely Hazel had to job of making the sketch and deciding on the theme. To celebrate 'Stictly Come Dancing' back on the box, her theme is 'Strictly Sparkling'. I have put quite a bit of bling on my slider card, unfortunately my photo hasn't picked it up very well. The lovely Julie has offered a great prize this week, so do pop on over and join in!

My card, 'Fairy Doodles' images, fairy, butterfly and sentiment, coloured in with Copic's, 'Pretty Please' papers, Bazzill Turquoise cardstock, Doodlebug trim and Kaisercraft bling. I have edged all around with a 'Momento' inkpad - 'Rosebud' and lots of 'Fairy Dust'.

Have just watched 'Strictly', lots of men this evening. I am loving Ricky Groves and Natalie Cassidy danced her heart out, good start to a new series, looking forward to seeing the Latin dances tommorrow, good for a laugh if nothing else, lol!

Have a great weekend, will be back with a Pollycraft card on Sunday, hugs Heidi xx
