In The Garden Card & Photo's

Good afternoon, hope you are having a lovely relaxing Sunday? I am, having got up at 7am today, I had a lovely crafting session while the rest of the house slept, heaven! Then Amy and I popped to Hobbycraft where I brought some more sets of Promarkers, they are reduced to half price at the moment, so go grab yourselves a bargain!

Anyway, I managed to finish my card in peace which I am entering into the wonderful Penny Black Saturday Challenge , where the theme this week is 'In The Garden' and also Secret Crafter , where their theme is 'Buttons & Blooms'. I have used my very under-used PB image called 'Friendly Surrpise'. The rest of my card is made up of Peach & Light Green Bazzill Cardstock, Basic Grey 'Green at Heart' paper, Beige Raffia Ribbon, Labels III Nesties, Hero Arts Sentiment, Prima Hydrangeas and buttons from stash. The little image was coloured in using Promarkers and I have inked around the image using a Momento inkpad named Bamboo Leaves.

I am going to dedicate this card to my lovely cuz Maree who is standing on her head in Oz, she has a fabby blog and makes such beautiful cards, do pop on over. The reason being, is that my card is slightly back to front or upside down, I stuck the bits on upside down, so it is now a back-to-front Easel card, lol! Well it was very early when I put it together, lol!

I wanted to share these photos of Molly with you, as you can see she is sitting in the rabbit's run, she is going through a mad phase, she thinks she is a rabbit! She is always jumping around like them and has now taken to sleeping in this run. Also, the second photo was taken yesterday when Georgia and Molly were having a lovely cuddle on her bed, I just love it!

Thanks for stopping by, enjoy the sun if you have any!

hugs

WOYWW # 51

Good morning, its Wednesday again, time to share your workdesks and mess, lol! If you want to join in, add your link on the lovely Julia's blog here. My desk is slightly messy this week, I have lots of little projects on the go at the moment. I must admit, I am not keen on working in mess, as I am a Virgo, I am always tidying up between projects, so most of my day is spent clearing up instead of crafting, so many wasted minutes, lol!

On my desk this week, Copics and Promarkers, my NEW paper box, papers recenty brought. Some unused lush Laura Ashley stamps, left them on my desk so that I WILL use them. New holepunch, keep losing them, not sure where they go! Anya surfer dude image to colour for a birthday coming up. New Cherry folder which Jess keeps trying to pinch, may have to get her one. Blog candy which I recently won from the lovely Emma. SU stamp sets which I am using for a commission. Momento inkpads, scissors, glasses, SU card set recently made at a friends party. Papermania fabulous butterflies which my friend brought me, phew thats it, I think!

Also, here is a picture of my little orchid. You may remember that I shared a photo a couple of weeks ago, well its in full flower now and it has a slight scent, just beautiful!

Had better go take Georgia to school and get on with my commissions, be back tommorrow with my DT card for MAWTT, it's my turn to do the honours this week, hope you will pop on back to see what I have made.

Enjoy your day, whatever you do. Thanks for popping over here.

The little Cupcake image used, can be purchased by clicking on the link.

All you have to do to join in the challenge, is to make a card, become a follower of the blog and leave a link so that the design team can pop on over to your blog and say hi! We have so many great challenges coming up with wonderful sponsors, so please do join in the fun!

W O Y W W # 49

Good morning! The lovely Julia over at Stamping Ground hosts WOYWW or 'What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday', I have been joining in for a couple of weeks now and am totally hooked! It's a great idea, to be able to pop over to other bloggers to see what they are working on and also a nosy at their stash, lol!

My desk this week is once again a bit on the messy side! I am in the middle of making a mini album and have been busy covering my new Papermania scalloped one, with the lovely new Hampstead papers, which my mate Karen kindly gave me. They are lush! As you can probably tell by now, I don't really like parting with my papers, so to make a mini album is the perfect way to hold onto them, lol! Also there are my three fav craft products, my Fiskar's trimmer, my Cropodile and my Momento inkpads. My large box of Jelli Tots, must have every colour now and the usual suspects, double sided tape, ruler and scissors.

The above box contains most of my ribbons, I recently gave it a complete overhaul and they are all nice and tidy! It won't last, I will be rummaging in their again later! I tend to go for the feel of a ribbon rather than a colour, the SU ones are my fav's at the moment, I have quite a collection going.

I was asked by several ladies, to show some of what is living in my sixteen 12 x 12 boxes. Well as a tease, I have opened up one of them today, lol! As you can see they are in a bit of a jumble, thats my next project, lol! My friend Karen keeps threatening to come on over and sort them for me, may take her up on her offer, as I never seem to have the time! Box # 1 - SU cardstock 'Brights' pack, SU paper packs x 3, October Afternoon and My Mind's Eye Papers. Various colours of Bazzill Cardstock and some vellums.

Finally, I know I have rambled on enough, but I just wanted to show you this picture, one of my little Orchid's has got some flowers! I have been waiting for two years, so had to take a photo. Also Georgia's little cactus has started to flower, they are so pretty, don't you agree?

Enjoy your day, I have to do my DT cards and then go groom my little Lion's Head bunny who looks more like an afro at the moment, I have to brush him everyday, which I just love doing! his sister is a short-haired Lion's Head, they are so totally different, will share a photo of them again soon, if they will keep still long enough!

Take care

luv and hugs

Not sure, she knows they are there, lol! The mum and dad are so tame, they were sitting next to my feet yesterday afternoon, they had massive worms in their mouths, thought they were going to give them to me, lol! I can't wait to see their babies flee the nest.

Take care, enjoy your afternoon and thanks for any comments left!

W O Y W W Week # 48

Molly Moo helping me craft!

Good afternoon, yeah its Wednesday again, keep thinking its Tuesday, lol! I am nearly not here today, I got into bed last night, next to a snoring David and was greeted on my wall, by the largest spider I have ever seen outside of the zoo! It would have definately have swallowed me whole and after the whole house got woken up, the spider is no more. What a brave hubbie I have, lol!

To my WOYWW . I had so much fun going around all of the lovely ladies from WOYWW last week and have met some wonderful peeps, who are just as mad as me, lol! Thanks to all who left me such lovely comments, I think I managed to get around to all of you.

To start with, here is my Molly who lives on my desk and makes crafting on there sometimes impossible! She can watch the pigeon's in our garden from my desk and often knocks everything off, when she makes a quick dash to catch them, lol!

Here is the photographic proof that I did spend all of the the bank holiday, clearing up my craft room. I haven't included the before's as my room was a complete mess and a total embassessment!

As you can see, I do have a lot of stash (only a few boxes). I am ashamed to admit that I am an addict! A paper addict. I have named and shamed myself, there is no hope for me, give me a fresh new piece of lovely paper and I am gone! Stroking and smelling is compulsary, especially with Cosmo Cricket and My Mind's Eye, lol!

My ever expanding papers boxes and Christmas stamp draw.

My wooden stamp draw, recently purchased papers and ribbon overspill.

On my desk, my Copic's & Promakers, images for my DT cards, a couple of finished cards, new basket for my cardstock.

My Magazines, all in date order (how sad!)

Right had better go blog hopping, then get some lunch, am hoping my eldest Amy will offer to make me one lol! Enjoy your Wednesday, thanks for popping by and listening to my rants.

Enjoy your Wednesday afternoon!

luv & hugs
