WOYWW # 56

Morning bloggers, Wednesday again! I just love Wednesday's! It is thanks to the lovely Julia who started this mad craze of blog-hopping to show off your workdesks and creations, and it has taken off slightly well, lol! It's so much fun to pop on over to blogs and get inspired by what these super ladies/chaps make. What did I ever do for entertainment before WOYWW, lol!!

To my WOYWW, there is a slight change to my normal desk layout, I have a poorly fellow living on my desk. Our little old man, Carrie our four year Guinea Pig isn't very well at the moment, and I have to keep him indoors to be monitored and give him his anti-biotics. I am feeling a bit like a nursemaid, and have been up all night tending to him, he is worth it though, we have had him and his sister since birth, so he is a very special member of the family. My craft room is the only place, away from Molly, who keeps on sniffing him, I am sure she wouldn't hurt him, but don't want to take the chance. He is living in her cat box until he is better. Therefore, I have had to move to my dining room table to do my crafting. The family won't get fed this evening, take out is in order me thinks, ooo decisions, Chinese, McD's or Curry????

On my craft mat are some unfinished ATC's that I am doing for a swap, I am using some very unloved stamps that have lived in my stamp box for a couple of years. I am absolutely fascinated by clocks, especially old ones and these reminded me of my dad who used to take clocks apart and show me how to put them back together again, it was so much fun! These are the sort of clocks that he used to fix for friends, arn't they fab?

My stamps are from Hero Arts, 'Antique Clocks - LL106', and come in a set of three, not sure if they are still available, but you should be able to find them on Ebay if not. My inkpads are Momento's - Rich Cocoa and Bamboo Leaves and I need to mind some appropriate sayings etc. to finish them off. ATC's are my new passion, Georgia and I have been busy making loads this weekend, it is so lovely that we can craft together! We will be doing lots of swaps, which Georgia is especially finding lots of fun. If you want to swap any with us, please leave me a message in the comments box and we can arrange this.

Right, am off to do some retail therapy, or I should say that Amy will be doing this and I will be carrying her bags, lol! She has promised me lunch today, so off I go, I am a cheap date, lol! She is going on holiday with her boyfriend soon to Ibiza, so I have to go help her, pick out her wardrobe, what fun!!

Have a super day, can't wait to see what your creating on your WOYWW!

love and hugs

Heidi

Was really hoping to see a glimpse of the poorly Guinea pig :-( I used to breed them and had them running free range in the back garden [up to 30+ at a time]....yes mad or what? I used to have classes of children from the local school to study Guinea pig family life too hehehe Happy memories.

Nice colours on those ATCs..I like clocks and watches too, but always end up thinking they have to be grungey..so I never use them! Foolish. Hope Carrie recovers well.

Two of our Guinea Pig's first lived in the bucket from the mower...(he's chose he had a huge hutch!) later when his mate died (Old age) he moved out and lived in a very large flower pot...very strange creature!! Your desk looks very tidy to me!!

Ah, poor little chap (glad I've read the update and he's feeling better) but I can see he's got some cute little creatures to keep him company.

Lots of yummy stamps on your dining table too. Hope you all enjoyed the take out.
