A Purple Partridge in a Pear Tree

Good morning,

The sun is shining which always puts me in a lovely mood!

Am sharing another Hobby Art DT card today.  This gorgeous set is called 'A Partridge in a Pear Tree' and is just wonderful!

I have made an acetate tunnel card in pinks & purples, instead of the usual Christmas colours. I think these colours really suit the set.

The paper I have used is from Craft Creations, and I made the card stand by cutting up another card blank and covering the front with a single piece to hide the acetate.  I love the little pear that I have stamped on the top of the card, it is such a lovely shape and the partridge is glorious to colour in, but very intricate to cut out though lol!

You can buy the set and many more gorgeous ones HERE.

Girls and I have a packed week ahead, lots going on and several taxi duties for me lol.

Keep Crafting!

Lovely Little George

Good morning,

Hope you have survived the storm last night? Well, the sun is shining here now and apart from a few branches down from our tree, we are fine, thank goodness!

Anyway, it's Monday so here is my 'Little Claire Likes' card for today. Gorgeous 'Little George' is one of my favourite images from Little Claire and is such a pleasure to colour up!

He is on special offer until Thursday, so go snap one up HERE, before they sell out!

As you can see, I have made 'Double Dutch' card, they are very easy to make.  If you want to know how, just pop on over to the main blog HERE where I have given instructions.

Right, must get on.  Am off out this morning to have coffee with my eldest, haven't seen her for a week, so lots to catch up on.

Have a lovely wind free day!

Thanks for stopping by my blog,

A Telescope Card

Good afternoon,

Today I am sharing a 'Telescope' card that is the blog project over at Little Claire.  I have used the gorgeous stamp set 'Butterfly Flourish'. There is a full list of products used and instructions, if you want to make one of these, they are very easy and a great way to use up scrap bits.

I have used a 'Butterfly' embossing folder on the orange elements and have coloured the images in with Promarker's.  The ric-rac cream ribbon finishes it off.

My girls break up for half term today, we have some great trips planned and lots of girly shopping, I cannot wait!

Have a lovely weekend,

Heidi

A Little Card to share

Good morning, just a very quick post from me as I have lots of work to get done today, both in the house and craftwise.

Here is a little card my ladies made last week at my class.  I made the card using a beautiful little image called 'A Saucer of Milk' and it's from LOTV, and it has to be one of my fav's from them.

The little images have been coloured in with Promarker's and the gorgeous paper is from My Mind's Eye.  The sentiment is also from LOTV.

Have a fabby day,

Heidi

Hobby Art 'Geese' Cards

 Good afternoon,

Thanks so much for all of your lovely blog comments, emails and facebook messages regarding my Hobby Art DT cards along with my lovely teamies, being shown on Create & Craft on Monday.  They were all so lovely, I was overwhelmed!

So, I am sharing a couple more of my DT samples. I have used the following stamps :

'Follow Me', 'A Gaggle of Geese', 'Decorative Backgrounds' & a sentiment from 'Birthday Collection' sets.

Firstly, here is 'Follow Me'. I have stamped a background, edged with another stamp and then used a swirl each corner of the image.

On my second card, I have used the same background & sentiment stamp sets but the image is called 'A Gaggle of Geese'.

I have used two different background stamps and two different colours of card.  I have coloured my cards in with Promarker's and have glossy accented the feet and beaks of the geese.

These lovely stamps can be purchased from the website HERE.

I will be sharing some more cards tomorrow, so I do hope you will stop by to see them,

Have a lovely afternoon!

Hobby Art Sunflowers

Good morning,

It's another wet and windy day here so I will be taking my large coffee and disappearing into my craft room today.

Yesterday, the lovely Jenny Mayes was on Create & Craft and showcased some of my DT samples.  I was chuffed to bits to see them on screen, so I thought I would share a couple with you today.

The Sunflowers are a beautiful set of stamps using my favourite flower in the whole world - obviously the Sunflower, I think these little beauties sold out on the show.

I have also used the new background stamps and the new Birthday Sentiments, aren't they just gorgeous!

You can go purchase them via HERE if there are any stocks left. Also if you saw the show, you would have seen the fabby 'Winks of Stella' glitter pens, go treat yourself they are a must have.

The coffee is perking so off to pour myself a large one!

Have a lovely day and thanks so much for stopping by!

Poppies

Good morning from a wet and gloomy West Sussex today!

We have had so much rain, our garden looks like a swimming pool.  Am going to have to get our Molly some wellies, so she can do her business without getting her paws wet lol!

Anyway, here above is my little card using the 'Little Claire Likes' featured stamp 'Poppies'.  I absolutely love this little image, lots to colour and shade!  I have also stamped in black around the card to give a border.  The little tag sentiment goes really well with the daisies in the larger image and have finished off with some soft velvet ric-rac ribbon.

You can purchase this lovely stamp at the reduced price of £3.99 (normally £4.99) whilst stocks are available, until Thursday 24th October.  Go via HERE to grab yours.

My mission today (should I wish to complete it), is to tidy and sort my wardrobe.  The weather is so grot, I won't be venturing to the shops although I really do need some chocolate to give me energy to complete my mission lol!

Have a wonderful day - keep dry!

Christmas Geese & Trees

Good morning, bad blogger here! Life has taken over in the last week.  I have had lots of dt work and two workshops to complete, so I do apologise for not being around.  I have however, had lots of fun at the Kent & Crawley workshops.  Lots of great ladies, which make it more of a social than a workshop.  I will make up for it today, by sharing two different cards with you.

Firstly, Little Claire launched a new stamp yesterday, 'Christmas Geese', its a lovely set full of little geese (obviously lol) and a great sized sentiment, which can be used on any card.  I have used the same paper on each card, I really love Craft Creations papers, and this one is 'Christmas Scroll'.

Here is my card using 'Christmas Geese',

My next card is the featured card in 'Little Claire Likes' this week.  I have used 'Christmas Changing Tree' and have stamped lots of the little elements to make a border and then around the tree.

Little Claire are offering this cute little set for the special price of £3.99 (normally £5.50) until Thursday 3rd October, just give the lovely Carol a call in the office or order online via the link above.

I do hope you like my 'purple' cards, please feel free to leave me a comment. I would love to hear from you.

I will soon have some wonderful news to share, which I am very excited about, all will be revealed soon :)

Take care,

Heidi
