My Favourite Cards from 2015 - Part # 2

Good evening,

Thank you for stopping by my blog, to see my second selection of favourite cards that I have made during the year.

It sure has been a funny old year! I have had lots of change in my home and work life and have been rather poorly this year, but am on the mend and fighting fit ready for more adventures in 2016!

I love New Year, it means a new start in all areas.  I am very excited as I have lots of new work projects planned and booked, along with more workshops, classes and craft shows, its going to be a good year!

To my favourite cards/projects - Part # 2 - Sixth is :

A Hobby Art favourite stamp sets of mine: 'Summer Holiday' and 'Shells' - love them!

I really enjoyed decorating this Tando book, I love all of the little bunting and starfish!

It reminds me of my wonderful crafty break to St. Ives that I had in September, am looking forward to repeating the visit next year along with my lovely crafty pals.

Seventh card on my list was made using :

Little Claire - 'Freedom' stamp set

A beautiful set of butterflies, buddlia and a butterfly cage.

I teamed the stamps with some wonderful Maja paper, kraft card and cream lace.  My friend Pauline loves butterflies and it always reminds me of her when I stamp up the images.

Card eight is :

Another Hobby Art favourite :
The very funny 'Baa Humbug' set, sheep with lots of attitude!  They always make me chuckle and are great for all occasions, not just Christmas!

I added a little robin and found this fabby holly paper which goes really well with the image.

Ninth is :
A card using the cute little image from Little Claire - 'Christmas Scotties' set

Love my little Memory Box 'Stitched Heart' die, the Little Claire 'Snowy' papers I have used too. It all matches with the little heart in the image.  A very pink and girly Christmas card.

Number ten is another from Hobby Art using 'Peter the Polar Bear' and their set of 'Snowflake' stamps

Eleven is :

Hobby Art 'Owls' in teal and brown, the set comes with great sentiments too!

I have used the tree stamp to create a background and have cut out lots of leaves making a next for the owl to sit upon.

Finally, number twelve :

The glorious 'Poppies' set from Hobby Art.  I have stamped and embossed, the large image onto vellum and made a background with the writing stamp.  Love these stamps!

Ok that's me done.  I have a date with a large glass of Pinot, catch up with my soaps then a family Scrabble match, bring it on!!

Have a wonderfully Happy New Year, full of health and wealth.

See you on the other side,

Heidi

My Favourite Cards from 2015 - Part # 1

Hello,

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and got lots of wonderful presents?

I was very spoilt, lots of lovely gifts from my three favourite shops : Pandora Next and The Body Shop.  I then went to the sales and got myself a few Next bargains and a Tassimo Coffee Maker, which has been on my list for some time now.

Am sharing six of my favourite makes from this year and the next six tomorrow.  I have chosen a wide range of images, some Little Claire, Hobby Art and Stampendous.  I do hope you have liked the cards I have chosen.

Firstly, from January :

Lots of bunting and a sweet little image from Little Claire called :

'Balancing Act'

I loved all of the purple-ness lol!

Secondly,

A  male themed card using both a Little Claire image and alphabet set

'In a while' stamp and 'Manphabet' letter/number set

It is a great stamp to colour in and love the alphabet shapes.

Third,

Lots of sheep, not just in my sleep!

'Daisy the Sheep' Dinky stamp

Including one black sheep, because there is always one in the family.

Fourth,

A Hobby Art set - Commemorative

A great set to keep and remember and the poppies are a joy to colour in and cut out.

Fifth and one of my favourite sets from the year,
another from Little Claire -

'March Flowers' stamp set

A beautiful image, which looks great in any combination of colours.

and lastly, number # 6

A lovely stamp from 'Stampendous' 'Feathers' - a card that I made for The Craft Barn Summer Extravaganza that I demoed at.

A very quick and easy card and was pleased that the ladies loved it enough to buy all of the stamps in the shop.

Ok that's my first six, back tomorrow with the rest from the year.

Thank you for stopping by and any comments left.

A Wavy Seascape

Hello, hope you are having a wonderful Boxing Day? Ours has been very quiet, as we are still stuffed full from yesterday and then on top of all of that food, our favourite lunch of all today, cold meats, pickles and mash, yum!  It is so nice to just veg out in front of the telly, play scrabble and spend time together.  We are planning to visit the sales tomorrow, lots of vouchers received that need spending lol!

I am sharing a card I made a little while ago, using a wonderful new 'Wavy' stamp called 'Wavy Seascape'.  These stamps are on special offer HERE, also the papers that I have used which are called 'Nice 'n' Stripey'.

Ok, am off to whizz around blog land and catch up on Pinterest.

Have a lovely evening!

Happy Christmas!

Hello bloggers,

I just wanted to wish you all in blog land, a wonderful Christmas and happy new year.  The family are all here for Christmas and am very excited to have all three of my girls in one place for a change.

I have been quite a bad blogger this year, but am determined to post more regularly in 2016 and even join in some challenges, if possible.

Thank you to all of you who have left me lovely comments on my posts, I really appreciate all of them.

Have a wonderful festive time!  Above is a photo of my beloved Berlin at Christmas. I cannot believe that only a few weeks ago I walked down this road and under the wonderfully glorious Brandenburg Gate, it is such a beautiful place.

hugs and love

My Favourite Top Five LC Design Cards from 2015

Hello, Heidi here to share my favourite five LC Design cards from 2015.

I didn't realise just how many cards I had made over the last twelve months, it was lovely to re-visit them and appreciate how lovely all of the LC Design stamps and images are.

It has been a really busy year for me, crafting and family orientated. I have been busy designing lots of cards, running workshops and doing oodles of blog work, which I just love doing!

Family life has been just the best! My eldest Amy has taken a new job in London, Jess my middle daughter had some fantastic 'A' Level results and then got accepted to the University of Surrey in Guildford, taking Psychology .  My youngest Georgia passed her first 'GCSE' and is on track to do the same with the others in 2016 when she leaves school.

I have had two wonderful trips away, a craft retreat to St. Ives in Cornwall with five lovely crafty friends and a wonderful mini-break to Berlin in Germany with my eldest Amy. We visited our family roots as my lovely mum grew up in Berlin.  I got to spend time with my lovely aunt, do lots of sightseeing and spending lots in the wonderful Christmas markets.

So here are my choice of five cards.
Firstly, in no particular order of date or month,

'Room with a View - Four Seasons'

I love the bright colours and this is a really cute little set of images. I have of course used 'Spring', 'Daisy' Alphabet letters, added some LC Designs dotty paper and some die-cut tulips.

My second is :

'March Flowers' set

I made this card for a LC Designs workshop, using lots of layers of the flower and kraft card.  I just love colouring, cutting out and decoupage!

Here is the inside of the card showing the sentiment.

My third card is :

'Lovely Hedgehogs'

Another workshop card, this time a mini-box card, again in bright breezy colours.  I just love these little hedgehogs and the little bird sitting on the flowerpot, super cute!

My fourth card is :

'Sunflowers' stamp set

I love this stamp set as Sunflower's are my favourite flowers! This is a little dinky card and I have used my ever faithful Promarker pens to colour in.

My last card is :

Dinky Stamp - 'Hello Mr Robin!'

I had to include a festive card.  This sweet little snowman image with a little robin, is another favourite of mine.  I just love colouring in this little image and have teamed up with some dinky papers and white pom-poms.

I do hope you have liked my chosen five from 2015.

Am so looking forward to playing with lots of new LC Design stamp sets next year, its just like Christmas when the white envelopes drop on my doormat.

Don't forget to visit the blog tomorrow when another design team member will be sharing their favourite five cards with you.

Have a wonderful Christmas and a happy, healthy, crafting 2016!

hugs

Heidi

Long time no post!

Oh my, its been so long since I last posted.

Apologies if you follow me regularly, I have been poorly with an awful virus, was spoilt rotten by my lovely daughter Amy and was taken on a short trip to Berlin and catching up with DT work and life in general.

Here is a great selfie photo taken by Amy in Berlin.  As you can see, we quite liked the Brandenburg Gate lol!

We had a fabby time catching up with my lovely German aunt, who I don't get to see that often. Seeing the wonderful sights of Berlin and visiting three Christmas markets, where lots of goodies were brought home carefully in my hand luggage lol.

Little Claire are now to be known as LC Designs Limited, they have a fabby new logo :

and here is a card I made recently using the wonderfully gorgeous new stamp from the logo.

'Wavy Cats & Tulips'

There are two more stamps available from this range, 'Wavy Beach Huts' and 'Wavy Seascape' with more to follow!  You can see them HERE.

Ok I am ashamed to admit that I still need to make some Christmas cards and start my present wrapping, so am off to get some done today as the house is empty and quiet.  Michael Buble CD to find and open up the mince pies!

Have a wonderful day, thanks for stopping by and for any comments left.
