Garden Birds Card

Happy Monday to you!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today.  I am sharing a little card I have made using the beautiful 'Hobby Art' - 'Garden Birds' stamp set that I have been playing with this weekend.

If you know me well, I just love birds and flowers, so when I got these in the post to play with, I was dancing around the room!  The amazingly talented Sharon Bennett has designed these stamps for Hobby Art and as usual, I just couldn't wait to stamp them up and colour them in.  In fact, I couldn't put these down and have done other cards, which I will share on my blog this week.

and the inside

Yes, I did got a bit mad with the flowers and cutting them out lol, I do love it!  Have coloured in using Wink of Stella pens and Promarkers and the sentiments are from the Hobby Art - 'Inspirations' sentiments set, which go really well with the bird images in this set.  I hope you can see all of the glitter I have added to the centres of the flowers.  I used 'Mercury Glass' Stickles Glitter Glue.

This weekend, I am so excited to be teaching classes at Make It - Farnborough with Rob, The MDF Man and make and takes with the wonderful Jenny Mayes of Hobby Art at Stamparama - Stevenage, here are the details.

Also, if you are visiting 'Make It' @ Farnborough on Friday or Saturday this weekend, I will be teaching the MDF classes at the show.  There are three different classes to book on, for more information and class project photos, pop on over here via the link : http://make-it.org.uk/workshops.php

If you are coming along to this Sunday, do join Jenny Mayes and I on the stand.  The lovely Jenny will be demoing and I will be hosting the make and takes.  We will be using the 'Garden Birds' stamp set on the cards.

Hope to see you at the weekend, yes it is going to be fun but manic.  I will be the lady topping up often on coffee lol.

hugs

Heidi
